you believe wrong. it is to play the original oldest zelda. on PC![QUOTE="jimmydude"][QUOTE="woodmeist"]I believe it's a program that you create a Zelda game with, something like RPG Maker, but using the Legend of Zelda (NES) graphics engine.woodmeist
Thats pretty crap then.
:lol:but really, you can choose what graphics STYLE you wish to play the game in. that's intersting but to me, not worth giving up the joystick on me GC
Wow you guys have no clue what Zelda classic is do you?
Zelda Classic is a program created by a group of guys that is basically a Zelda game maker program, like the RPG maker game. The first game this guys made for it was a remake of the original Zelda. THIS IS NOT A ROM OR EMULATOR. This is a brand new program and these guys built Zelda from scratch.
After that they released the program to the public, now there are over a hundred very good Zelda games available to download. The stuff you can do with this program is amazing. Imagine the original Zelda but with all the tools from Alttp. There are ton of extremely ambitious titles on Zelda classic and best of all you can make your own Zelda game.
Also the game allows the user to create whatever 2D sprite they want, so with this program people have created a Mega Man game using the Zelda gameplay. There is also a Sonic game, a Metroid game, a Mario game all using the Zelda gameplay.
If you are a Zelda fan you must play some of these games, some are insanely hard, way tougher than anything Nintendo has ever made. It is a Zelda fans heaven.
