THe answer YOU were thinking of is ZELDA: II due to the fact that there are levels in that game.

the true answer is *every single one* there is an upgrade that fits the qualities to be an upgrade. the heart liners, the new weapons, anything.

Zelda ll is correct.  You can upgrade health, magic, and attack power.

Yes up up up up is a perfect sequence.  If you go any other way, you WON'T get there.

You have to beat a subdungeon in Gerudo's fortress to get the ice arrow I believe.

no, you get a sword, that is a power up! TO LINK. I'd consider a powerup getting a sword.
