Hi there everyone, here's a card that I've made for another union I'm in. I used CS3 to make it and would like to know what you all think about it.

I don't like the fractals.

To make cards you should make it look official (like pokemon cards or yu-gi-ho cards are), a card with a square where a SIMPLE pic will be inside.

Thanks Loggens and Duder I'll have to keep this in mind and make another one with a simpler look. The one that the leader of the union had one that was kind of like the one I made, only no fractals, and so I tried to emulate that style.

If it wasn't for a card though, would it look okay? Design wise I mean? As you all know I'm still getting the hang of designing and CS3... there's so much that can be done with that program which I haven't discovered I'm certain.

Do you have any suggestions on how to get the render blended better?

I didn't know that the flow was really important in a card since the space where the render is positioned is very limited, they are always on the right-hand side of the card. I can see how the flow on a signature or banner would be of great importance though.

considering we talking about cards..it really doesnt matter how u blend..just that the render must be complete and stand out ..i think the bacround even dont have to be same colour or close..(i have played yu gi oh game alot..iam comparing with these cards:P)

That's true Loggens, I've played Yu Gi Oh and Magic the Gathering and the cards don't necessarily have to have backgrounds that match, I just thought it would be cool to have black and greens.

As far as the render being complete, what do you mean? I had to cut him off where I did becasue he wouldn't have fit on the space I had and if I'd made him any smaller the proportions would have been all wrong.
