when i think darth vader, even if i think "urban art darth vader", i don't see lots of orange and purple with those stripes coming from behind him... so yeah, colors don't fit at all :P
and even in B&W, those stripes and splatters feel kinda off.

Good point, but after various youtube parodies and flash animations I've seen of Vader all I get from him now is the gangsta vibe

yeah i see what you mean (i'm willing to guess you watched the "i'm your father rap" too much :P), but it still feels so odd to me.
