i can draw stuff to life too. V2 up

although my way is kinda different than flame's :P

finally got to put my newfound effect to use. making the lighting work was a pain, hopefully i got it right :x

V2 - fixed the hand shadow which was annoying me, darkened the hand a bit (which i had done on the original at first but when i removed and readded the hand i forgot to do), removed a bit of marth's colored part, but not much.

i changed to links only because i don't want my bandwidth to implode :P

The shadows seem off. :P The light would have to be coming from the lower left for Marth's shadow to make sense, and if it did that the hand's shadow would be off. Plus the person's body would be in the way. :P It's great though. Good job. SoraX64

the only weird thing about all these paper texture designs is that any mark on paper really completely covers the lines. but, if they werent there in a design, it wouldnt be as good.

Actually the lines (more so around the sword) are awfully jagged or pixel lookin. Takes away from it abit.Bobakuzero

do you (or anyone) know any effects to help with the pixelated lines without making it look blurry? 'cause i noticed it too (although i think only at the sword they're pretty visible) and don't know how to fix.

Ive been trying to think up a way since I saw it actually. lol The closest thing I could think of was bluring over it in a new layer and then lowering its opacity and trying to blend it to make it smooth. Or being hardcore and zoomin and do some tedius erase work. And yeah I checked back a few times to see if you responded. ; )

the copy-blur-opacity doesn't work, i thought the same thing :P

and i think the erase method would come out worse *remembers rendering before finding out the path tool* i'm not doing it.
