Little Advice

Ok so heres i think the biggest reason i have been doing so little job on photoshop for a time..you see i always used tutorials to make signatures..cranted i made a wew adjustments when i made them but still..but now i have used all of them that are any good and when i try to make one without a tutorial i suck..i mean i know what all things do over ps but i have no inspiration on how it will look like or what i want to do there..zip..nada..

so my question for you who make wew sigs a day or so..where do u get the ides for how u make the look..?

btw its not gallery so i suppose its ok to make this thread:)

I used to follow tuts when I first started designing, but I never do anymore :P

tutorials are good for learning new techniques and such...i like taking a technique and then take it to the next level..anyway that is only me ... but yea , learning by yourself is much better . Thats how you progress....Grottekvarnen

I personally look up a ton of tuts:P

Whenever I make a new sig I kinda refrence them for new techniques or inspiration.  I think it works pretty well as I've picked up on a lot of techniques and skills I wouldn't have on my own.

unless i was trying to mimic one specific technique (and so, i became addicted to the gaussian blur +overlay combo :P)

That is what I recommend: Go to Planet Renders, go to renders gallery, top rated and look for a render that "clicks" you if you know what I mean, and after that you can let your imagination to flow. If it doesn't work, travel through GS unions and look at people's works and try to make something similar, or something that is in the same style. It really helps.Jas0n94

Hmm..i have tried the first one and it turned out to give me some ideas..but the looking at other sigs and tring to do something similar is a good idea..i will try that:)
