i go with V2. sure it still needs some improvements, but it's better.

I think for a banner its okay to have two renders.:P

I always find that in sigs when there is less space it isn't the best but usually in banners two renders is okay I find most of the time.

This said. On to the banners, I like v2 better, although you still need to work on the basic stuff like the overall compo, flow, blending, effects, etc. So go tut hunting.
