2006 College Football Awards.

Here are the winners for 2006. There is still a couple of awards to be given out including the Heisman of course and Johnny Unitas Golden Arm award.

Maxwell Award (Outstanding Player) - Brady Quinn, QB. Notre Dame.

Walter Camp Award (Player of the year) - Troy Smith, QB. Ohio State.

Dick Butkus Award (Outstanding Linebacker) - Patrick Willis, Ole Miss.

Outland Award (Outsanding Interior Lineman) - Joe Thomas, Wisconsin.

Chuck Bednarik Award (Defensive Player of the year) - Paul Posluszny, Penn State.

Davey O'Brien Award (National Quarterback award) - Troy Smith, Ohio State.

Doak Walker Award (National Runningback Award) - Darren McFadden, Arkansas.

Fred Biletnikoff Award (Outstanding Wide Receiver) - Calvin Johnson, Georgia Tech.

Jim Thorpe Award (Outstanding Defensive Back ) - Aaron Ross, Texas. :D

John Mackey Award (Outstanding Tight End) - Matt Spaeth, Minnesota.

Lou Groza Award (Collegiate Placekicker Award) - Art Carmody, Louisville.

Bronko Nagurski Award (Defensive Player of the year) - James Laurinaitis, Ohio State.

Ray Guy Award (Outstanding Punter) - Daniel Sepulveda, Baylor.

Vince Lombardy/Rotary Award (Outstanding Lineman) - LaMarr Woodley, Michigan.

Rimington Award (Outstanding Center) - Dan Mozez, West Virginia.

He's a scary good o-lineman. The Browns sure need him, but I wonder if the Texans will try to get him if they finish worse than the Browns?
