Yeah, lets be honest here...you know some fans annoyed you. And im not talking about your rival fans or what not. I mean which fans do you think should of just shut up after complaining and just babbling nonsense all year long last year.

The Boise one does it for me, but only after they beat Oklahoma not before it.

I actually picked Boise to win their game against Oklahoma because I had seen what they had done to Oregon State and been impressed (Look at the stats of that game its incredible) and because I thought Oklahoma was overrated all last year and didn't think they deserved a BCS bowl.

But once they won the game all that was said was how they would have done the same to any other school and I was like "Woah now, you ain't that great" and how they were this god like team. Then all of their fans came out of the woods and started talking smack on every forum I went to...and then Jared Zabransky got the cover of NCAA 08 and that was the final straw.

I think for me its the Michigan fans.

I'm gonna say Michigan State fans for bragging about the biggest comeback win in NCAA history against Northwestern, especially since it was after their debacle of a 4th quarter against Notre Dame.

But part of me does go for the Michigan one, only a small part, but it's there. Also the SEC fans claiming to be the only "true" conference in college football, or whatever the hell it is they're saying these days. I mean c'mon. If you take Alabama outta the picture, how many National Titles have been won by SEC member teams? Not many.

Also Texas is the only team that has won at least 10 games the last 6 years. Again just throwing it out there, im reffering to your comment on USC being the only school with a similar Boise record.

This got kind of long and rambled a little, and I got bored half way through, because we're still talking about the WAC, and its pretty hard to get all excited about that... however, it is really exciting to see you all get all worked up over it, so i will continue to play. lets talk about the WAC... a mighty conference with powerhouse programs like Idaho! Louisiana Tech! San Jose State! Utah State! New Mexico State! and maybe... just maybe the one semi-reputable team there, Hawaii. With in conference games like that, I don't really get why you think you should flaunt around records....

Now if you want to play the "we have a lower budget"... then don't try and compare yourselves with "big budget" schools... that argument just doesn't work for me. either you are a genuine program or you are a good program considering what you have to work with.

Let's see...going back to my first point about our football budget, I'd say we're doing pretty damn well. As far as the WAC is concerned, Steelers_86, point well taken. Nobody should have a 45-3 conference record over 6 years. I'm not here to apologize for the schedule we play, nor am I here to disrespect you, but you're comparing apples to oranges. Your programs talk about championships and dollar figures and attendance in numbers we can't even fathom. We're a small fish in a big-ass pond. You want to talk about fairer competiton, okay. Since the Mtn. West was formed, Boise State is 12-0 against them. Against C-USA, 1 loss (to a top-10 Louisville team). The MAC, 2-0 (back when Bowling Green actually had an NFL-caliber QB). I'm not going to compare us to you because frankly, we're not you. And Romocop, I can't believe I'm hearing that argument from a Buffs fan (see: Hawkins, Dan, Montana State University, and 2-10)

wow you have 1 season to smack about? how about this number....15. as in 15th most wins all-time in 1A football, which is what colorado has. but don't worry, boise st. isn't far behind at number 110.
