You should fix that pole.

Change it to best bowl game OTHER THAN THE ROSE BOWL.

Anyone who chooses a game other than the Rose Bowl is just crazy. That Rose Bowl was one of the greatest games in FOOTBALL HISTORY.

I agree 100%. I watched the Rose and Alamo Bowls on Espn Classic yesterday for the 6th time each and probably would watch them again. So for 2nd place.................Alamo Bowl. Lloyd Carr was ageing before my eyes...priceless.

I agree too, except for me, naturally it was the Fiesta Bowl, with Ohio State derailing the hype train that is Notre Dame and Charlie Weis. I was great to see the Irish get basically man-handled

I could have easily picked the Fiesta as Ohio State is a favorite of mine and network darling Notre Dame losses always bring a smile to my face. Musberger's ramblings about," since both teams are from the same state and only a hundred or so miles away........why don't they play each other more often"? That coupled with non-stop coverage of Quinn's sister in the stands drove me nuts.

Tough. I'd have to say Michigan and Nebraska in the Alamo Bowl since almost everone knew those others bowl games were gonna be great games and that most thought Michigan would tear apart Nebraska.

Wisonsin had a lot to play for in that game because it was Barry Alvarez's last game as head coach, so I had a feeling they were gonna win.

The only reason Ginn is still running is because he is trying to get as far away from Austin as he can before Week 2. Oh and anybody who didnt choose the rose bowl is gay or they like boys. Period.

ginn made ND look like they were moving in slow motion. OSU's coaches will utilize ginn correctly in week 2 thus providing many a highlight material for sportscenter to run, over and over and over and over(which is a sportscenter problem i feel). and if i might add rubber; quite an origional attack on anybody who didnt pick the rose bowl game, it was just as origional as, well, your name

Calvin Johnson just said in a recent interview that has been watching the game film he hopes to do to the Notre Dame secondary what Ted Ginn did to them in the Fiesta Bowl. Thats pretty awesome to hear him say considering he's probably the best WR in the nation

no they werent, Texas won so its pretty simple. Texas defense also stopped USC on 4th and 2 and picked off matt leinart in the endzone. Also Bush only had one good run, he didnt do what he did all year.

LOL here we go......"if they did this they would of won". I hate when ppl do that seriously thats how the game is, you make the plays to win..they didn't so they lost. Texas made the plays and thats the way it is. You sound like a seahawk fan. Bottom line USC didn't make the plays, or cut down on the mistakes. No one told Bush to lateral it he did it himself, plus they could of recovered the ball right? but nope Texas made the better effort to land on the ball. Oh and btw look at the game again Drew Kelson picked off Leinart and they didn't count it, they said it was incomplete. Didn't matter because they made up the plays and won the game. Yes there is better teams that loose to worse teams all year long, but in the Championship game the best team always wins. If not then 5 teams could say they were better than the Steelers last year.

Hey, coming from OSU, I can say that when we won the National Championship we were NOT the best team in college football. We were just the team who was able to get it done in the pinches, with a couple of breaks going our way along the way

How can he run right through them, he had -2 rushing yrds against Texas last year. Add that to the scorching 9 yrds of receiving you get 7 offensive yrds. Last time i checked 7 wasn't quite running through them, maybe not even at them. As carlos mencia say Ted Ginn is Dee Dee Dee!

Lets see if I take a certain Lendale White from USC you know who still wins the game TEXAS! He scored just as many times as VY did. Heck VY didnt start scoring until 8:34 left in the 3RD QUARTER! So look i took one player away from both teams and the best team still one. Hence the TEAM in those sentences, if it wasnt for VY's TEAM he wouldnt have been in a spot to came back because he would have been to far behind.

So look i took one player away from both teams and the best team still one. Hence the TEAM in those sentences, if it wasnt for VY's TEAM he wouldnt have been in a spot to came back because he would have been to far behind.

do you knonestly belive that Texas would have won still if they didn't have VInce Young even if USC didn't have Lendale?

[QUOTE="gobrutus"][QUOTE="Espurs117"]LOL here we go......"if they did this they would of won". If not then 5 teams could say they were better than the Steelers last year. emswartz

Hey, coming from OSU, I can say that when we won the National Championship we were NOT the best team in college football. We were just the team who was able to get it done in the pinches, with a couple of breaks going our way along the way

So you fluked to a title game?

Basically.

I wouldn't say fluked. It just seemed like destiny that not matter how they played, they somehow came up with the win. I'm sure emswartz still remembers the 'Holy Buckeye' The whole season was that way for Ohio State.

Yes, I remember that game. I was sitting next to a Luckeye fan too. It was a nightmare. We deserved to win that game. Purdue outplayed OSU that whole game. Ohio State just got lucky, like in the Penn State game too and don't forget the national chamionship.

okay this is getting out of hand, bottom line Texas won fair and square....Young, White, Bush, Leinart are all in the NFL.
