Back in the day, Okie State had a coach whose favorite saying was that they had a "moral victory" each time they had a tough loss. I later heard a quote that a "moral victory" was neither. I guess today was another one of those for the guys in Stillwater.

Not to detract from the horns win, but given history of the past few years...nobody chokes on it against a specific opponent the way Okie State does against texas. At this point I think Mack and Co. could go down by 5 TDs and not bother putting the starters in until the 4th and still win. The Cowboys just don't know how to finish against the horns O_O.

secondly, how many games is texas going to weasle their way out of this year? it seems i pick them to loosein pickem' and it looks like their going to loose, then all of a sudden they comeback in the 4th.

Texas owns Okie State dude. That's how it is. Even with Vince Young there Okie State always got up to a huge lead. Texas owns the 2nd half. Plus Mack Brown always gets his team going in the 2nd half. You keep picking vs Texas tho. :D

I said at the beginning of the season that with texas' defense being what it is, it was going to be up to Colt and the O to get the job done. Man was that true...

As much as I've knocked on the horns for being overrated, Jamaal's kicking ass and Colt's hanging in there despite having some so-so games recently. They aren't making a BCS game, but they may secure another 10 win season if they can stay in it against Tech (they are losing to A&M, there's just no discussion on it ;) :P).

Even if they win out (which will happen cus A&M blows!) it will be pretty damn hard to get a BCS Bowl. Since there is 3 Big 12 teams above them right now and the maximum is 2 teams per conference (see Wisconsin 06). There gonna need Kansas and Mizzou to blow it. Oh well Cotton Bowl here we come!

Yeah, there's just too many other contenders in the way (plus the computers still say texas hasn't done anything...that doesn't help). Cotton Bowl seems the likely situation.orthancstone
