The Texas playoffs are getting pretty intense, my HS Clements is still alive and undefeated this year(13-0) but we are going to face a very tough challenge against nationally-ranked Katy this Saturday. The atmosphere at school has been awesome, everyone is pumped for the game and hoping we can beat the cocky Katy bastards who think they are going to whoop our ass. The mayor of my city is even holding a city-wide pep rally in front of our City Hall tomorrow. Also Southlake Carroll(overrated) lost so we are happy about that too.
My high school team sucked this year, but my college team is playing Mary-Hardin Baylour out of Texas at home this week in the Division III NCAA semifinals. Hope those boys from Texas can handle paying in the zero degree weather with snow (we have six inches as of today and are supposed to get more).
I barely follow my alma mater these days. I know they had a coaching change a while ago and had back-to-back 1-9 seasons, which are the worst records in school history, and then the coach was run out of town. The team in my town lost in the 2nd round by 3 points, but I hate them.
Wouldn't put it past Mary-Hardin to play well no matter what the weather. It's a damn good team (why oh why did Trinity have to get them first round :|)
