thats horrible. hes going to have a difficult time finding good money and a good team in the draft. hes still a good player and hopefully he is still a good player. i feel wvu might have a better chance of winning. we already had a good chance, now we just have a better one.

Even though Kentucky was getting blown out, I guess they wanted to get blown out while delivering a blow to Louisville.

No, he will still make 2 million dollars. He took out a life expectancy thing, or something. It guarentees him 2 million dollars if he cant play for a mjority of his senior season.

They said he may be able to make it back by the last game or two of the season, or possibly the bowl game. This is going to hurt him extremely in the draft though. He will probably be a 1st round pick, but a late one.

There is also the chance that if he decides not to go pro that UofL could petition to bring him back for one more year. Im not sure if that will happen, and i highly doubt it... but who knows.

WVU now is probably gonna sweep the Big East now, UofL could overcome this loss, but beating WVU and Miami are highly unlikely.

I was looking forward to seeing that Lousiville-West Virginia game, but now it won't be that big as it was projected to be before because Bush isn't playing.

Bush should because next year's draft is already gonna be filled with great running backs and it will make sense if he came back.

Sucks to hear that, now WVU has an easier path to the Big East title. When I was watching the game, someone said, watch him get hurt. Then it happened.

what? hes guaranteed money no matter what? i still think his chances of getting drafted will all depend on how well he does in the combine. best of luck to the guy.

He probably will take the redshirt, but then end up leaving anyways. He would still get drafted in the first round like Willis Mcgahee, and since bush's injury is not as serious as Mcgahee's was teams won't see drafting him as too risky.

Not as much as you think.  Our two backups would be starters at any other college.

Most people aren't.  That doesn't mean they aren't two high quality backs.

That's like saying the 2 freshman USC RBs can help replace what Reggie Bush did.

It's not impossible for two RB's to replace 1,740 yards and 16 touchdowns. However when you think of all the attention that R. Bush drawed from defenses, and what he did for the return game he is truly impossible to replace.

Our two backs aren't inexperienced freshmen.  They both split time with Michael Bush last season and would have done the same this season if he hadn't broken his leg.  One is a good between the tackles back and the other is a deceptively strong, lightning quick back.
