I had this same thought. I haven't studied all the teams but I would have thought Tech would be on the short list for offense.

On Defense I submit "Whoever is currently playing Notre Dame" as one of the top 5 teams... :)

Top 5 Defenses (in order according to total defensive yardage): LSU, Ohio State, Kansas, Wyoming, Connecticut
