Hey, kiss my ass buddy. :P Not like we're gonna be in contention for the title next year. I'll be surprised if we start in the top 15. We'll lose a few games next year due to the fact that we're gonna be using whole new offensive and defensive schemes.

Umm... where is David Cone from? That name tickles my memory for some reason.
Anyway, Texas will have to get through Knowshon and the Dawgs first! That is... if the brutal road schedule even permits UGA to get there....

Do I know where you live now...?
Yeah he caught a break there. Michigan doesn't recruit many people under 4 stars... Unless they see things that others don't... Or that they were on the brink of becoming a 4 star but didn't.
But I still can't believe Michigan got a 2 star DE out of today's class to commit. What a waste of a scholarship.

So giving Mike Hart who was a 3-star player was a waste as well?
Some of Auburn's best players have been 3 "stars" or less. Ben Grubbs (starting in the NFL, oh and he was a DE), Will Herring (most career games played at Auburn, now plays for the Seahawks), Courtney Taylor (one of the better receivers AU has had), there are quite a few more starters (7 or 8 ) that have 3 or fewer "stars".
By the numbers.

I'd say Auburn does a good job of getting the best out of their players.
ku blows. i hate them so much. oh texas wont win this year. they got drew bledsoe at qb. ut vols all the way!Gunnerman007
lmao. Your kidding right? Did you even see 1 highlight? McCoy can run. Almost ran for 500 yds last year, and you gotta remember the sack takes away yards. Seriously, just watch some games. That was a horrible comparison.

maybe it was a bad comparison but i dont know many ut fans who actually like mccoy. he can run a little but has trouble holding on to the ball.

Most texas fans don't like anyone who fails to win every game. Hence why 10 years from now, 90% of horn fans will only remember the name Vince Young and no one else from the past decade. Hell, I'd venture that if Major Applewhite became head coach some day in the future, most of the fans would probably forget about his days as a QB. No offense to guys like Espurs who actually have a clue (luckily I've met some respectible, non-bandwagon horn fans in my day), but the majority of horn fans are tools.
Very true orthanc. And i hate to say this but in my opinion it'll most likely be USC and UGA in the national title. And maybe, just maybe if we can beat UGA and really improve our secondary we might be in the national title. That's just my opinion though.
tenn has it.
tyler smith was a pro ready high school and then he transferred to Tenn to complete the team.
B0Knows
i don't think tenn has a chance of winning it. in my opinion it definently wont be them
Penn State would be a serious contender if the coaching staff would simply update their offensive schematics, and if there wouldn't be so many off-field issues. :(spfx30
when do you think they will let go of Joe Pa...personally i think thats the only thing holding penn state back right now...and well off field issues with kids such as QUARLISS or less haha

Definitely. JoePa doesn't help at times, but he definitely isn't the sole reason behind PSU's inability to compete with the big boys. The players are more at fault than Paterno.

You left one school out of that list (they are from the WAC so what). Boise State. Yeah yeah they didn't play anyone blah blah, but keep in mind no wanted to play them. Side note haven't done the research on it yet, but I would go as far as to say BSU has been rank higher than Auburn at the end of the season couple of those seasons. (don't quote me on that though)
