Resident Evil 5 (SPOILERS)

**Turn away if you don't want to know of somethings without figuring it out by playing this game first**

You know that female in the water capsule that most people rumored and thought was Sherry Birkin as an adult? It's actully Jill Valentine resurrected after being killed in a previous battle with Chris. And according to the trailer and the mysterious figure wearing the black hooded robe and metal mask I believe IS of Jill Valentine after Wesker brought her back from the dead, and has joined up with Wesker at Umbrella. As far as Umbrella goes so far of what I've played, I know nothing outside those HD trailers.

Until I know further, that's all I know for now.

PS: I was shocked and crushed to see Chris's flashback showing Jill Valentine's gravestone, and I couldn't get over it through out the entire time I've been playing. She was a great asset to Resident Evil.

Well I at last have beaten Resident Evil 5, and have I got a lot to tell you. First, it took me from 11:00 AM to 6:45 AM today, about 20 hours including breaks. Well if you don't care if I spoil things for you then read the following of what I experienced of this game. And keep note when you play this game, you need to install it first like a PC game or software. Kind of stupid and it takes about 5GBs worth of memory. So I won't be able to get too many PS3 games if they need to be installed considering I only have a 20GB and 14 of it is for me to use.

1. Chris feels uneasy about Sheva being his partner, because his last partner Jill Valentine was "killed" by Wesker at the Spencer Estate (not the one from Resident Evil 1).

2. The Las Plagas IS the virus still, but at Stage - 3.

3. The entire Resident Evil history is oftenly brought up; Marcus, Spencer, STARS, Umbrella, Raccoon City, Pre-Resident Evil 0 events as far back as 1966, Leon's encounter with Las Plagas, BSAA's Jill and Chris's infiltration in Russia against Sergei, T-Virus, G-Virus, T-Veronica, Progenitor Virus. Basically the full series is widely referrenced.

4. Chris and Sheva save Jill from Wesker, and Jill is a survivor. Jill Valentine also has a completly new look; she's blond, has her hair tied back like Sara Connor, and dresses like an Anime figure.

5. Wesker is the final boss and looking at this fight scene, I think Resident Evil 5 marks the final battle, because Wesker doesn't survive. He falls into a volcano. This final fight scene looks something similar to the fight scene in Revenge of the Sith between Anikin and Obi-Wan in a volcanic world.

6. It is noted that the Progenitor Virus was actually created by underground flowers.

7. Umbrella is oftenly mentioned, but only shows up as a theory that they merged with Tricell (the ones responsible for the Africa infection).

8. Esbella is Wesker's partner in this game, but just like in Resident Evil 1, he betrays her and injects her with the virus.

9. There are several fight scens that are VERY hard and require a plan of a attack.

10. Spencer (the man who owned the Resident Evil 1 mansion) makes a flashback appearance and is killed by Wesker for the right to be a god. 13 years of this series and he never appeared up until now.

11. A document file shows the names of the top Umbrella employees mentioned in Umbrella Chronicles' ending who are either dead, arrested, found, missing.

As far as this game goes, it's not the most Resident Evil of the series. It seems more military like than biohazard, and the series hasn't been the same since Umbrella fell. Of course I'm going to get this game, because even I can't beat everything in this game in the 5 days of renting. And like I mentioned above, I think Resident Evil 5 marks the final battle of the series, just based on how it plays and ends; the whole Resident Evil history is always brought up, and Wesker and Chris had the battle in the volcano at which Wesker did not survive.

My best guess is if they're going to make another Resident Evil, it would have to be based on bio-terrorists, Ada Wong has something to do with Las Plags she stole from Leon, a prologue of Jill and Chris battling the biohazard in South America and Asia (mentioned in the Jill file), or they'll just have to find some other reason to continue the Resident Evil series without both Wesker and Umbrella. Maybe another pharmasutical company like Umbrella or Tricell will take the research of the T-Virus, G-Virus, T-Veronica, Progenitor Virus or what ever.

I think the reason why some other past characters never returned is for the following:

Billy Cohen - He's on the run to avoid his death sentence for killing 23 people.

Barry Burton - ran off to be with his family in Canada in hiding from Umbrella and Wesker.

Rebecca Chambers - I think she wanted to live a normal life.

Claire Redfield - her role in this game series was to find her brother Chris Redfield and she did in CODE: Veronica. So her part is over.

Sherry Birkin - Turned over to Umbrella, and Umbrella is gone, so Sherry could be gone too. If they make Resident Evil 6, she could still come up, but since she's been out for over 10 years, I think she's long done.

Ada Wong - She could still come up again. She stoled the Las Plagas from Leon and the cult and brought it to a mysterious organization.

Hunk - Umbrella is gone and he used to fight for Umbrella.

Carlos Olivera - I think it's because he works for Umbrella and Umbrella is gone.
