RE5 as a stand alone game

So what i'm trying to say is,what if RE5 didn't have any prequels and it was just a fresh game that came out just like Bayonetta or demon souls,would your opinion of the game change then?.This is leaving out the whole "they ruin the whole series with plagas or majnis"and the whole back-story with Jill,Chris and Wesker previous battles,storys etc

it probably would have been even better to people who didn't want it associated with RE

but it wouldn't have changed anything for me 

well that only goes for a certain amount of people since there are others who's proud that its part of the RE franchise.

I think regardless of it being a RE game imo

its still one of the Best 3rd person shooters out there.

Well in my opinion I think that it would be great either way, but having a partner to play with makes it a lot more fun. I like games that u have to work together to get through missions and things like that. Re4 was and is a badass game lol. but i have not touched that game in months because it does get boring playing alone once u beat the game and did everything after that. This is why I love the ps3 ;) great multiplayer games!
