The Leader of Resident Evil?

Through all the RE games there is a fair amount of characters but out of all of them which character seems to be the "leader" or most important to the games?

Is it Whisker for being in so many games or Chris for being there to pull whiskers whiskers every game?

I would have to say Chris due to the stronger looking makeover and debuts in so many other RE's.

I know where you are going with this but as much as i want to say Leon,it got to be Wesker.He's like the face of Resident Evil but unfortunately he suffered a miserable death.TriniPlayer

To be real with you,i think Wesker was done for after collect two RL in that lava.Alot of people didn't believe it and even say that he dodged it but come on,it would be stupid if he did make a return in RE6.

Back on topic,like i said before,Wesker to me is the headman in Resident Evil.

Well you should probably have realised that Resident Evil is all about... well the EVIL. The protagonists are just there, pretty much why every main character in Resident Evil has been given about as much personality and backstory as a lego man when compared to the ample plot provided for Wesker. The leader of Resident Evil? Please, it's not the manly man Chris, the shapely Jill or the pretty boy Leon. It's Wesker.

Think, in Resident Evil Wesker died. He was however brought back? For some reason Wesker was important enough, to cut into the continuity of the story. Wesker was the reason S.T.A.R.S. were dispatched into the Arklay Facility, he responsible for Ada being dispatched into Europe to acquire Las Plagas samples, he was yet again the feature bad guy in Kijuju. He was given a plot that we now find out, is completely central to the whole series. He was the last remaining Wesker Child, the success! And despite the many different characters we've all been introduced to... Wesker was the most prevelant was he not? Wesker's Report 1&2, his unique scenarios in Umbrella Chronicles. All there to further the players' knowledge of one man, Albert Wesker.

You know, it have changed, it was Jill before, and now it is Wesker, but Chris might be the successor (even though Leon is way more popular, Chris has always been in the central storyline, while Leon have had more side-stories (RE4)). 

Jill was the most popular one before, she was even compared to Laura Croft, in RE1 most people played her, since it was the easier scenario, she was the first to get her own game out of all the characters. 

But after the recon in Code:Veronica where Wesker return, and they made him in to this epic master planner.Which surprises me if we look at what he was before. He was the traitor; he lead them all to their death and all, but he wasn't cool or anything like he is now. It sounded like he was bullied by Chris when he luaght at his plan. Not the evil mastermand we now know. 

But I don't think that Resident Evil actually have a face, because it changes so much. 

I suppose so, Resident Evil just isn't that kind of game to have a main character... it's like Metal Gear Solid in a way... because although in most titles you play as Solid Snake, the plot revolves around Big Boss and The Boss and everything within the Metal Gear universe is a result of their decisions and choices. The difference in RE, is that there's a much wider character pallet.

Wesker is the main bad guy,and has actually appeared in most of the games,so I'd say it would be him.
