Yes but is it classified as failing still or success? Also though on topic there were plenty of good days during and after season 8.

If you TRY to fail and you fail, yes, you were successful in doing what you set out to do which was fail. And the definition of success is "the achievement of something desired, planned, or attempted." So yes, it would be classified as a success. So please tell all your Philo 101 professors that even when you fail you succeed :)

there were great episodes in season 8. but the team just isn't the same. it makes me sad. (not nearly as sad as there being no more myst games, but sad). without jack on the team, it just, well it doesn't feel right. don't get me wrong i like this season it's been great so far. but i want jack back.

well hopefully he will make some guest appearences in season 9 or 10 but it is probably unlikely. jack has gone forever :cry: the only chance of seeing him will probably be when and if the make the stargate movie and that too has to be soon cos he isnt getting any younger

Really i havent missed him as much as i thought i would. Sure it would be great to have him back but the new guy is filling in well enough. Mitchell is alot younger and can do more things (show related) than Jack could and its funny to watch him try to fit in with SG1. If you just take the show as it is and dont dwell on the fact that Jack is gone then you dont even care that much really. Atleast this way they can keep the show going which is better than nothing at all and there are still a bunch of questions (FURLINGS!) that need to be answered.

i was trying to stay off the topic of the furlings. but yes i would like to see them sometime soon. i mean they have left us hanging. someone should complain t othe writers. anyone know how to get a hold of them?

Im almost to the point that i dont even care who they end up being just as long as its finally put to rest. The Furlings could have been the Goa'uld or some ewok like creature for all i care just as long as the fact is established lol.

For some reason everyone assumes the Furlings to be Ewok-like. I don't know why, but even I thought of them to be like that. Weird huh?

I dont think its that wierd since they have Fur in their names and everyone is familiar with Star Wars and there hasnt been any other info really to discredit it. They could in fact be hairless and just named themselves the furlings so that way enemies would never think that they were the same race.

I thought season 8 was just as good as the rest. Perhaps it's because I only really started watching SG-1 in season 5 or 6.
