what was this episode all about, not much going on at all. Vala's dad was funny....selling stardust :lol:, this was more of a comedy episode than anything. the ending was so funny, what must teal'c be thinking lol
The ending for this episode rocked :lol:. That really is the hardest I've laughed this season :lol:. My Dad had just left the room when that scene started. Thank God I didn't have to sit through that with him. It would have been so embarrassing :oops:. Anyway I thought it was a good episode. I think the ones that have been written simply for comedy :D.
i just thought since stargate is nearing to an end :cry: they would have done more with the episode.

I've noticed quite a lot of the recent episodes have happened on Earth. They must be using the money they saved from those and putting it into a gigantic finale :D ... I hope :|

me too, only 2 episodes left now, so i hope both of then are packed with as much story as possible

That was great! An excellent jab at the network! And the episode wasnt half bad either.
I caught the little jokes a few seconds after they were said. Did anyone else get a weird audio problem with hearing vala and sam talk but they werent moving thier lips?

I wa going to say that lol I voted good. Fred Willard as Vala's father was great casting. I loved how he was scaming the old ladies lol classic.
i voted good as well. i didn't think it would be good, but as shock said fred willard as vala's father was PERFECT! the bingo game scam was the best.
i guess it would have been too obvious if he had changed his ways at the end, but i kindof wanted him to. :( but he's not really hurting anyone, except vala of course.
Rember at the end of the episode when Teal'c got tickets to "Some Show". That was so funny. You kinda have to feel sorry for him then. He had that genuine look of embarrassment.

Anyway, I liked this episode really well. It was funny, you had Vala's papa and even till the end he was conning someone out of something. XD Another thing I liked was how Landry was getting some loose ends tied up. I'm glad they did this before the show ended. Because he's awlays talking "How's your mother?" and this and that. And now he gets to talk to her again and try to work some things out. It needed to be done and I'm glad they did.

yeah i think the vala-father thing was really meant to illustrate the rift between gen. landry and dr. lam. very well done too.
