I think its a good team and i have to say this he almost did it came close but chickened out that would have been one good episode if he would have giving her that ring before they got lock in , rodeny you the man :D

yeah this was likely the best one-off ep of atlantis. i was laughing, crying, covering my eyes, and ahhing. and the keller-mckay relationship was worked in well and kinda nice. guess the ronon thing was just for that quarantine.

After seeing the end, are you sure about that?
well yeah now at the end i think she has a thing for him. throughout the episode, notice when rodney starts going off on his tangents, carter would be the one frustrated but keller never told him to stop and seemed amused by it.
Maybe we'll get an episode where there's some sort of confrontation, or at least an argument, between Ronan and McKay over Dr. Keller. Could add some tension in the team.
It was a good episode. They made an interesting trio and it was good to see Mckay being heroic. I also enjoyed the interaction between Mckay and Keller too.
Oh, I dunno; she showed her ability to fall... a lot :P Three times in one episode. By the last one, I was like "If she doesn't get hurt this time, then we'll know she's actually an indestructible Replicator" :P

I have to agree this was definitely the best one-off episode of Atlantis I think they've ever had. Personally I don't see what is so far fetched between the Keller and McKay match up, it seems to make more sense than Keller and Ronon... I mean come on... I just don't see it with them. And some of the stuff Keller was saying to and about McKay during this episode almost kind of implies that she may actually kind of like him.

It's all about backstory. In future episodes they could use what happened in these last couple episodes to go off on a bigger story arc.
For instance, what was the real purpose of the Genii facility? Were they really just mining down there or was there something else going on? We just don't know since we never got to see the whole underground facility. All we have to go on is what they told us. And as for the containment protocol and Rodney's tweaking, that could have huge impacts in the future just like it did in that last filler episode.
Backstory, my boy, backstory. It's the difference between a good story and a great one.
