Thats not easy to answer. I like soo many episodes lol. I guess my favorite one would be the time that the Black Hole appeared at another planet and they couldnt rescue the team. I thought it was among the most sci fi episodes they have done yet.
Reckoning Prt 1 & 2 were really really good. But you are right in that some of the best episodes dont have the goa uld in them at all. Also is Teal'c the only character left that has never missed a show. Im almost certain that everyone else on the series has missed atleast 1 or more and i know that the upcoming season we are supposed to be seeing less of Amanda Tapping and RDA.
ya I think Teal'c has not missed an episode yet. Amanda is missing the first six i think, because she had a baby. And RDA is going to be in the first 3 of season 9 than he is leaving. My favorit episode's is Hero's Pt.1 and 2. I can't explain why I can just watch it over and over and never get tried of it.
I dont have a single favorite episode, but among my favorites are Children of The God (you can never go wring with the pilot), Lost City (combines all elemts taht Staragte has done well, drama, comedy, and action). I am also a fan of Window of Opportunity (the groundhogs day ep.).
I forgot the episode name but I like the episode where Jack first meets the Asgards (sp?). It just seems like a memorable moment in SG. Also the episode with Teal'c and the training game ws pretty good IMO.
if i had to pick a single episode i would say: Full Circle the Sixth season ender When Daniel comes to them (in ascendent form) to help find the Eye of Ra
Theres just so many good ones. The only ones I don't like are when they stay on Earth and have those government problems. Or problems with the NSA or whatever. Those are kind of boring.
They generally have the problems with the NID. Not all eps that they stay on earth are bad. Cant really think of a good one ATM but im sure there are a few.
REALLY?! You founf the political ones boring? I thought they added so much more realism to the show. And I just love the N.I.D. episodes (especially mayborne, lol, he's the best) It's good to be king. lol.
I'd say the 2 funniest episodes are Window of Opportunity (where o'neil and te'lk repeat the same day) and Urgo (the life like program in SG-1's brains) Also Lost City and Space Race I thought were pritty good, but obviously theirs probably about...10 others that are probably just as good...just can't think of them
It's really hard to choose, but if I had to choose it would be the Lost City part 2. Plenty of good action along with strong story and character development. I also think it was a nice prelude to Stargate Atlantis.
My favorite episode of Atlantis so far is the pilot.
so far I have not been impressed with Stargate Atlantis, don't get me wrong, I still watch it. I don't like the women whos plays Dr. Weir. I like Sheppard and McKay. The other ones I could live without.

Yeah theres something about them that just isn't "SG-1" enough. Yeah yeah I know they aren't suppose to be SG-1 but I don't care. They seem to spend more time arguing and don't act like a real team. IMO They suck.
Ever hear of unique painting replicas? they look exactly the same as the original but there is something they will never achieve...

This is exactly the way I see Atlantis. Although I admit I've never watched it, my gut instinct tells me it will end up being a unique tv show replica. It may have all that SG-1 had, but it'll never be the same.
Alot of the Atlantis eps remind me more of the good years of SG1 where all they did was explore and fight the goa'uld. Also whenever they end the season they always leave with a great cliff hanger which SG1 hasnt done in awhile more or less because they didnt know if there were even going to be more seasons. Like if they didnt renew for Atlantis then that would really suck but i wont go on since it may contain spoilers for people who havent seen it yet. And for those that havent you really need to watch it since it is very exciting and overall a really good albeit odd epidode. Its atleast on par with Reckoning prt 1 & 2 i think.
Ok I got a new favorite to add to my list: Threads! Best SG-1 epsiode I have EVER seen. I also really liked "The enemy within" that was an awesome episode, and it was only the second episode of the series!
I was just thinking of this episode in the last post and decided to add it here. Its the episode when Jack and Teal'c are locked into a time loop. They start to go crazy until Daniel tells them that they could do anything they wanted to do without consequences. You see Teal'c push the door back into the guy that keeps hitting him every time and later on Jack has the gate open and is hitting golf balls though it and yells at Hammond for interrupting his backswing and a bunch of other moments. Makes you wish you could have that kind of event happen to you but only for so long of course.
Yeah threads is great, it makes me think jack and sam will finally get together because sam ditched that guy and jack's girl said he was making a mistake. Anyhow Window of Opportunity, yeah I love that episode too, especially when jack and tealc learn to juggle over time and finally Oneill writes "give up" and underlines it. lol.
I'm not sure about which episode is my favorite but Window of opportunity and Urgo have got to be among the funniest in the series. Not all episodes based only on earth are boring, i thought the one where they had to find Seth was quite good.

Well wait a second. I thought space race was a great episode. and surely you can't beleive that in the entire galaxy there isn't even one system that has races like that. I thought sg-1 did an awesome job of it, certainly better than star wars is capable of.
