I just started to get on GS more and i decided that i would try and look for an actual SG union and luckly i found it like a few days after it was created. It was the first Union that i joined lol.
I was thinking of posting in Off-Topic, to see how many people were looking forward to Season 2 of Battlestar Galactica. I decided to search first, to make sure there wasn't a recent discussion. It led me to a board - Sci-Fi Cafe or something. Anyway, I noticed a Stargate thread. Opened it up, read a little, and then I saw it - the beacon of light...
Okay, well not really - but the Clan Sig does have that WormHoliness about it. Anyway, I jumped through the puddle, and found myself here - fanboy's paradise.
I was on the one of the main forums and i asked if anyone liked stargate and most people did'nt even know what stargate was. About 3 times later someone told me about this union and i joined.
When i joined i was afraid that since i was already in 1 union that i wouldnt be able to join another one. Happily i was wrong and havent looked back since.
It was in someone's sig, or it might have been on the main page of the GS forums (they list unions off to the right). It was one of them two. And that was like 2 years ago (I joined a little over a month after this union was started), so I've been a member for some time.
