In regards to the recently posted update on our main page. It said something like they were putting RDA back into stargate. For me, this makes no sense. Of course it's only because it's good for the fan base (as always) and not because it fits with the story. Personally, I think they should leave RDA gone, kill mitchell and bring jonas back. It would make sense in the overall storyline rather than only be done for the fans and profit motive. Anyhow, what are your thoughts on the matter?

Wtf? Killing Mitchell and bringing back Jonas would be the dumbest thing ever.  Jack making guest apperances if fine by me.

If he came back and replaced Beau, even for just a short time, and then come back every once and again would be great.

If the ratingfs start to fall, he will be back. Remember you are dealing with NBC. And SCi-Fi has lost touch with its base when it come s to programing, IE Passions and SVU.

Well if the fanbase and the ratings are all that are driving the stargate franchise now (which is what I suspected with Mitchell being put in there) then I have lost all ties and hopes to any future stargate episodes.

The only reason really i watch Sci Fi is for ghost hunters, SG, and somewhat BSG.  I really just want to slap them for putting SVU on there!!  It's not like i cant flip through the channels and find some sort of law and order that is a steamming crap on another place.

I watch Sci Fi for StarGate and all their grade b movies.  Grade B movies movies are awsome, more funny than any mvie on comedy central.

Every morning. It sucks. I would rather watch Battle Star Galactica (the remake) - I think it is terrible- than Passions.

Are you *bleeping* kidding?  Are you *bleeping* *blooping* me?  PASSSIONS???  I liked it better when they had that weird vampire soap opera on...but PASSIONS???  Sweet Jesus, what's next?  Days of Our Lives reruns from when Marlena was possessed?

Anyway, back on topic, I think Sarge's idea, while I like Mitchell, is a pretty good one.  You would then have Carter, Daniel, Jonas and Teal'c, with Carter in command.  If Jack did come back, I don't see him full-time ever again, just in cameo roles, and I'm fine with that.  I don't really need him as a full-time character to enjoy the show.

And once stargate it leaves it'll drop again lol.  I dont see how they could do it in LA though since where would they shoot all the scenes?  They would have to travel fairly far to get to an area and although it might be cool to see some different vegitation like maybe some redwoods i dont know how they would do it.

That is what happened to X-Files and Poltergiest The Legacy. The BC/Vanouver area caters to this Industry with the over inflated prices of LA.

I kid you not. The Lady running SciFi Channel said she wanted to get more mainstream. SciFi is more a niche market. That's why BattleStar Galactica read like a daytime soap opera.

And how do you know about Marlena being possessed? Um......you have to wonder.

Yeah LA is a very expensive city to live in.  I really really liked the BSG mini series.  I thought that it was really well done and the space fights and sfx were awesome.  As for the show it is a little too soapy although ill try and catch a little bit from time to time.  The last good ep was when the other battlestar showed up and they were about to fight.

I think the ratings weren't as good as they hoped compared to the Gates'. And I hear Doctor Who is doing decent. It s BBC Wales production.

thats because they have having 20 episodes this season while in season 1 they only had 13, so they need more time for production

I followed that one.  Basically another time traveler came upon a space ambulance or something in WWII and when he opened it he thought there was nothing in it but really there were medical nanites and i guess the first thing they found was a dead boy with a gasmask and it revived him.  The boy didnt know who his mummy was and the nanites just kept on spreading till they found out the mother and her DNA was superior and then the nanites fixed everyone.

Is a really old series, that's been redone several times. I think even Peter Cushing played the part.
