What if you went back in the stargate that you just came out of like going the wrong way i know there not 2 way but im just wondering(if that makes sense)

Edit:i mean 2 way as in redialing from were you are instead of just going back thru as soon as you got their .

yeah i was a bit unclear but what i mean is if you were to come throught a stagate and then turn around and walk right back thu the gate what would happen i heard that you can onley go throught an out going worm hole but if you did what would happen ?

the only "stuff" that can go through a wormhole the opposite way (out an incoming/ in an outgoing) are radio waves, radiation, gravitation, and EM waves.

after they dug through a little bit. The Stargate was facing up. So when the wormhole opened it made a small cavern pointed up. So when they sent the malp through it fell back into the Event Horizin (sp?).shockwave04

If you go back in the gate then some one else must be coming to hold it open and there should be a moving water efect on you that pushes u back to the place the person holding it open is going

If you go through the back side of the gate its like talking into a speaker nothing happens you just walk through and are still on the same world

Now I will get technical try to stay with me, wormhole physics says that a wormhole exists in a subatomic universe and only lasts as long as the wormhole is stable and open. So if the wormhole were to shut down will some one was in it they would be lost forever. DO NOT PAY ATTENTION TO THE EPISODE 48-hours! As it only suggests that Teal'c was stuck in the stargate because he had reached his destination but the gate was hit by a burst of energy that shut it down.

Radio waves, EM waves and gravity can be transmitted both ways through an open wormhole... matter cannot. Don't know the scientific reason for it but may be if you really pay attention to season 1 you may find your answer.
