I was just wondering if anyone in the Union plays an instrument. It seems appropriate, considering this is a music Union! :P
As for me, I play the piano and I love it! :D

I play the Drums, and I freakin' love it!
:D
I tried to play Guitar, an Acoustic one at that, however, I was a complete failure!
:(
..
Anyway!
As said before, I play the Drums!
:)
Nope. I've attempted to learn Guitar (acoustic) on multiple occasions....never make it more then a couple weeks.Â
Â
I plays the electric guitar, can do somewhat decent singing/screemo(only deep stuff though since my voice is naturally pretty deep:lol:) and some bass and drums, but can only keep teh beat on bass and drums:lol:
On guitar I can play pretty much an regular song from Weezer to Kings of Leon, but when it comes to crazy solos..................:| I'm working on getting the Screa, Aim, Fire solo down:|Â Tough stuff but going ok so far;)
Used to play guitar (both acoustic and electric) and keyboard, though I havent in quite sometime now... even so many of the things I learned I still there in my head :P
Wouldnt mind learning to DJ either
[QUOTE="Cody13_2012"]why does everyone feel the need to distinguish between whether or not they played acoustic or electric guitar?SoraX64There's a difference between electric and acoustic in both style and difficulty.
when you're learning and doing scales it really doesn't make the slightest difference. Although learning and practicing on an acoustic is a much better idea than doing everthing on electric.
I switch back and forth with my acoustic and electric all the time.
There are quite a bit of things that are interchangable between the two.
I played the piano some years ago,but I think I can't now.
The day I managed to play Love Hurts was one of the better days of my life!!!
For those who like to play electric clean once and a while, I just thought I would let you know that Fender Frontman amps have one of the greatest sounding clean channels ever (Drive channel is crap though, so I use a drive pedal)Cody13_2012
Fender stuff is good for clean tones, same with Vox good for that kinda stuff imo.I tried a few Fender bass amps they are good pieces of kit.Right now im looking at Ashdown MAG's need to try one cause it does a good range of stuff even though i mainly play pop punk :P
Fender and Vox are great for experimentation with pedals and other stuff aswell heard that from a few of my mates who own them.Even though ones main rig is an Ashdown Fallen Angel (which is possibly the best guitar amp ever xD)

yeah their single coils in stratocasters are not a reallly nice sound compared to the humbucker's you can get which look like single coils they are just excellent my mates using the Seymour Duncan ones in his old strat even tho he has a Les Paul (lucky git xD).Although they did it right with the Telecaster imo its just perfect for a good punk guitarist its got a much more desirable tone over the likes of the Gibson Les Paul Jnr with its P-90 soapbar imo.
But Fender bass gear is killer especially the P-bass a very very nice instrument stock, but i would really think bout adding in Seymour Duncan QuarterPounder's in it as they are much more growly and just kick serious ass although Fender Vintage 60's style ones are awesome aswell.
