Well from my experience, I tend to stay away from people who generalize things 9I have been guilty of that at times). It only leads to nonsense.
I do respect other folks' taste in music, but I will not be forced into liking it.
I always try to respect other people's taste in music.
There are some people that really hate on my music, though. They do it to the point of personally insulting the artist. I don't really understand the point of doing that.Â
For the most part, yes they do :P
And I respect others' music tastes, it's an opinion after all, not set in stone fact, no amount of cussing will make it so.Mostly people do, since they know how important music is to me( I inherited from my dad who downloads as much as I do:P)
But since I enjoy a large range of music but am passionate about all of it, I think people see that, and I try and respect other peoples tastes unless its like Justin Beiber or county music:P;)
Where I live very few respect what I listen to.Dudersaper
same
and I try to respect any artist who (to me) seems like they tried writing meaningful music, for the right reasons (I ****ing hate Green Day, Blink 182, Nickelback, etc)
If they respect mine.
It works both ways imo.

Same here haha! :P
I'm pretty open to different genres, but like Exodus, I really can't stand rap lol.Â
I also really hate ad hominum arguments where people are like "SINCE YOU LIKE *insert artist* YOUR OPINION IS INVALID"....it makes me ANGRY. Lol.
