Woo, yeah, they rock m/ First heard of them when I played the song "Beast and the Harlot" in GH2. And yes I know how much people hate it when people find out about bands from video games:P 

Yeah Avenged Sevenfold are good. I like Bat Country by them.

Manson is an interesting dude.  Puts on a good live show too.

I don't listen to Slipknot anymore, but they have some songs I enjoy.  I'm more of a fan of their side bands though (Stone Sour, Murderdolls). Great live band.  Seriously, really good.

Korn is another band I don't listen to anymore, but I do own most of their albums.  They are absolutely amazing live!

I absolutely adore Shinedown and SOiL.

Zebrahead, one of my favourite bands:D Of their first two albums at least. Their s.tyle change quite alot after those albums and they were still good, I just love older Zebrahead more:D

I've never cared for KoRn, I'm picky with Nu-Metal, Metalcore, and Deathcore.

I've heard a lot of their stuff, I don't like it. Korn, Five Finger Death Punch, and Bullet for My Valentine are some of the metal bands I don't like whatsoever.

most of their stuff sounds the same, the riffs are lame, the drums are lamer, and the vocals are boring.

same here, if a band goes political, they need to do it like The Dead Kennedys, and make it as over-the-top as possible.

That just depends on your music preference. They actually improved their overall skill by a whole heap in the newer album. I didn't think it could get any better, but for me it got way better. Of course, if you only liked the type of music Rise Against did and not actually them, then the newest album was probably the biggest disappointment ever.

they lost their punk sound with the Sufferer and the Witness, I didn't like that at all.

I look for whether or not I like a bands sound, morals are important, but morals won't save a bad band by any means.

I happen to love the sound of punk, and there are few punk bands today that are any good, and Rise Against was a good one, but they altered their sound to a type of music I like less.
