Alright guys :)

For my first thread back I wanted a happy one. So, post any songs that lift your mood, make you dance, make you smile, make you laugh or uplift your spirit :)

For me right now it has to be 30 Seconds To Mars - Kings And Queens

And Paper Tounges - Trinity

Interestingly enough, I actually do have a growing playlist of songs like this (it's more of a "relaxing' songs playlist than a happy playlist, though)

  • Dumb - Nirvana
  • Goodbye Blue Sky - Pink Floyd
  • Heaven Can Wait - Meat Loaf
  • Mother - Pink Floyd
  • Here Comes The Sun - The Beatles
  • Tears - Rush
  • Us and Them - Pink Floyd
  • Polly - Nirvana
  • Man on the Moon - R.E.M.
  • Bad Day - R.E.M.
  • At My Most Beautiful - R.E.M.
  • Everybody Hurts - R.E.M.
  • D'Yer Mak'er - Led Zeppelin
  • Learning To Fly - Pink Floyd

I rarely listen to happy songs, for some reason I feel better when I listen to depressive music

  • Lindsay's Trachea - Cinema Strange
  • Tomb Lilies - Cinema Strange
  • Intermezzo - Cinma Strange
  • Dames, Booze, Chains and Boots - The Cramps
  • Two Headed Sex Change - The Cramps
  • Wilder, Wilder, Faster, Faster - The Cramps
  • Deadfly Ensemble - Literally everything from them
  • Lament For A Toy Factory - Dr, Steel
  • Slapped By Moe - Dr. Steel
  • Childhood (Don't) A Go-Go - Dr. Steel
  • Driving Along - Harry Nilsson
  • Coconut - Harry Nilsson

Most of what I listen to is depressive and/or serious.

But for some fun ones:

Earache My Eye - KoRn

Who You Gonna Call - Dr Acula

Wicked - KoRn

Some Nirvana ones.

Actually I can't really remember much that make me happy or "smile" (I love the music and I love listening to it but mostly I don't listen to things that are "happy" :P)

I listen to a lot of depressing/sad music too and have a playlist of it, a lot of the songs are by bands like Alice In Chains, Pink Floyd, and Soundgarden.

Anything upbeat. I normally stick to rock and intense music like that, but if I really need to get a musical pick me up, I go with "Party Hard" by Andrew W.K.

Don't exactly have a playlist but I'll divide it into emotions:
Jolly Good
While the list is not exactly complete, I try to feed my emotions (yes, feed) instead of shutting them down. For merry ones:
Kutless - Loud.
Uno Para el Otro - Guardian.
All I Want - Toad The Wet-Sprocket.
Promesa - Guardian.
Sam's Town - The Killers.
Change Your Mind - The Killers.
U2 - Beautiful Day.
Rage
Ah, getting mad. Umm, how energizing.
Capricorn (A Brand New Name) - 30 Seconds to Mars.
Buddha for Mary - 30 Seconds to Mars.
Smells Like Teen Spirit - Nirvana.
Bullet With Butterfly Wings - Smashing Pumpkins.
In the End - Linkin Park.
Savior - Skillet.

Gloom
Ah, well, The Cure gets this actually, I'll just link two songs from them and a third from a Latin band.
Want - The Cure.
Jupiter Crash - The Cure.
Dead - Zoe.

Affection
Love, whatever.
Starlight - Muse.
Profugos - Soda Stereo.
Un Dia - Guardian.
Iris - Goo Goo Dolls.
Mr. Brightside - The Killers.
Forget About What I Said - The Killers.

Viento - Caifanes.
Some Music with Great Lyrics
Ah well, I'll leave with some good old Soda Stereo and some of my favorite Christian songs.
En La Ciudad de la Furia - Soda Stereo. (Think you have to skip to minute one in this video, not sure)
Looking for Angels - Skillet.
Tears of the Saints - Leeland.

Too Much - Leeland.
