Incoming! Legion of the damned!

The marines who've been through hell are back! Alot of people have been wondering when these boys would appear and finally some pics have arrived we've also gotten some news from GW

They are being released this January and will be featured in a few white dwarf articles including a eavy' metal guide on how to paint the latest incarnation of the damned they have also said keep checking white dwarf and the website for more details... so they may appear in decembers edition of white dwarf but will be concealed like they did with gunnery sargent harker and the plastic daemon prince so keep your eyes peeled!!

you've never heard of the legion of the damned? Basically they're space marines who either been mutated by warp energies, the spirits of dead space marines or the will of the emperor given form these guys appear on battlefields where all seems lost and turn the tide completely as soon as the battle is over they dissapear as quickly as they came

the stat lines for these guys is pretty evil they have a 3+ invulnerable save some people may be off put by the slow and purposeful rule however that one rule gives you the relentless rule which means you can move and shoot with heavy weapons + assult it even applies to rapid fire weapons :D

hey are normal space marines they're in the space marine codex as an elite choice I've been hearing quite a few things about them so far the prices for one guy will be 6 pound while a box of what I assume to be 5 men will be 20 pound

Though I dont really like marines that much even I gotta say these guys just look f**king sick!

they also got the sgt of these guys up.

and all i can say is I NEED THESE. i think im going to save a special stash of holiday money for these lovely minis. i especially like the skull-beakie armor.

@Crunk: yeah, they are loyalists. if i remember fluff they are from the Fire Hawks chapter. the entire chapter-fleet was lost in the warp for 20 some years. after that, scouts from the imperium went into ork sectors only to find death and destruction(of the orks i presume). they found so much evidence of this but no signs of an attacker.

pretty much everything else pael said is accurate. what has become the Legion of the Damned is insane, but they are still loyal

yeah, these boys are out online an i checking them out. i want to see if my local store can order em so i can gobble em up.

*do you know if they are plastic? im betting metal...

yeah...american wise they are $35(for all five in a box like sternguards an the like) an saw em on GW for pre-order...if you do it there is free shipping i think for the holiday season

i wish there were more of em or if they could come in parts to mix an match. but these ones will do

well, im looking at buying the Sgt. Centurius off a warseer user but this just crossed my mind...

are these guys limited-time? or will they be a "permanent" addition? basically are the going to come out in jan, be around for a few months, an then they will stop being produced? or will they be like the sternguard that are pretty much always going to be there for purchasing?

awesome. i think i will get the five man squad plus the heavy flamer an multimelta.

an sgt c isnt going down. the guy painted him an everything already. an this other guy has it but wants a good bit for it thats well out of my range for just one mini.

i got the main box with the sgt. an other 4.

then i got the ones for the multi metla an heavy flamer

an then two more blisters each containing 2 different marines.

so that 11.

but if they make more...AWESOME. i wish they made a conversion pack like DA an BT

and i wanted SGT C but yeah, its not happening. way too much money people want for a single mini.

haha, one idea i had knocking around in my head was to make LotD. just green stuff bones onto the armor and flames.

i may try that one day
