does anyone yet know exactly why the gods betray kratos? are they afraid of his power? they prefered ares more?RaptorRex35

With the key word being "exactly"...no..we don't..I was mentioned in the manuel that Zeus and Athena recognized how dangerous Kratos would become to them..As for them prefering Ares to Kratos..that would only be because Kratos isn't a coward and is a much better fighter.  Since we don't know exactly who betrays Kratos, further speculation isn't educated.

~Whoever they are...they've earned the name Titan ("over-reacher") as far as I'm concerned (If you don't understand that I'm not speaking literally then you'll have a hard time understanding this aside)   Who but a fool would think they could attack Kratos on his "blind side" and get away with it (Vegeta reference for those in the know)

The Gravedigger is a must have in GOWII, but not sure if he would be an allie or an enemy. would kinda suck if he's suddenly an enemy.Soulxxx

He would be wise to sit when he pees when Kratos is about...

I wonder what the GraveDiggers role would be in GOW II, if they bring him back in the game.

The grave digger was a small abeit important character in the last game, if he does show up then I doubt he would have a big role to play.

I doubt it, the characters I am wondering about is the Oracle, Grave Digger, and Athena.

Even Athena, but she is known for helping out heros, although they say that Kratos is far worse than Ares ever was, and i think Athena might realize that and think that she might have made a mistake. Dusty114

Athena is the goddess of Weaving and War...but lets not forget she also was the Goddess of Wisdom (don't take her for a fool)

~She isn't looking for a good man but a useful one...she aids who she must (Kratos is a weapon and a man..I'll leave my thoughts at that)  His past matters very little...She was well aware of it and his brutality when she served as his patron goddess for 10 years and we got some insight on the matter through the manuel.  I doubt she would make the fools error of turning away from him now (with him being more powerful than ever).

Though it will likely be MADE canon (concerning his being son of Zeus)..That is still a uneducated statement..Hera, Zeus' Wife, IS his whole sister..The Greek gods were known for such things..

So it isn't a far cry to say (half-sister or not) they could be "together"..Though this is highly unlikely since the game is made in America for the "masses" (who happen to not be terribly comfortable with incest in their games). 

If the Zeus/father arc is made canon there is no chance that they'll ever get paired together (unless they use "creative liberty" to change some things from the original greek myths...doubtful) 

~I find it even more unlikely that Athena would be the god(dess) that betrays Kratos (it would be pretty careless to let him keep the Blades of Athena)..Ally for sure..

You're such a "smiley whore"..I know what you said..but the fact that you should have already realised is that I don't care (I do what I please..a good laugh is worth it) is a glaring oversight.
