The Boat Captian was just a captain on the fleet of ships attacked by the Hydra. His later appearence in Hades was just for comic relief, and had no purpose other than a laugh. (I have to admit I laughed when Kratos kicked him off of the stone. )curlfrolol. relative of Kratos... Now GoW seems to be more realistic for me now.
I'd like to actually change this thread a little. Instead, this can be where confused gamers who have beaten the game can ask questions about a part of the story they didn't get.curlfro
...I could answer these questions at TUGOWU Helpdesk. The problem is that some questions would be a matter of opinion (such as "WHO was the Gravedigger really"). That is why I made the thread (also the poll).
I WILL be asking questions in the comments section of Barlog's Blog...I just wanted to gauge the support and here some questions others would like answered...I'll try to make due with this topic.
YES or NO
GoW question:
-Who was the Gravedigger really?
GoWII question:
-Will the Boat Captain be making another appearance? (perhaps as a "running-joke" for the series)
But what about the grave digger i still dont understad how he knew Kratos and to dig that grave for himRedChuckzYeah, there really is no answer for this. It may be fleshed apon in the sequel, or maybe they just forgot about him. Some say he is actually Zues, but no one knows.
I brought the topic up subtly in Cory Barlog's blog but no answer as of yet *they are finishing the first 1/3 of the game and he has been making merchandise deals...also Voice Over supervision*
~I won't force the matter since it could possibly be a story element in the sequel that he CAN'T touch up on yet
Is the titan still wandering around with the temple on his back?
also, the body burner guy outside the entrance to Pandora, is he like unemployed now? Can he leave the temple?
How did so many people get so far through Pandora's temple. Surely they shouldn't have got that far (ie bodies in the countdown spike room)
Can Kratos go on rampages against cities like Aries?
Did the architect get anything from building the temple (apart from a dead family)?
Were the gods mortals like Kratos once?
Cheers :P

I assume you are asking these questions concerning the timeline of GoWII..what has happened with the box is unknown ATM.
Kronos (father of Zeus *as seen in the manuel*) is still wandering
The body burner is still there (he doesn't get to leave just because someone found it...This isn't some kind of fairy tale where his soul is set free by a champion....he's screwed)
They are just decoration (We are supposed to ignore the facts here)
If he wanted to (at the beginning of the sequel...after his murder he is no longer a god)
No (The prize was the honor of serving the gods..who don't care about you)
No (They are born that way...start of a babies and rapidly grow up to there mature form then staying that way...Athena is the exception since she was born out of Zeus' head fully grown and armored)
~Cheers
Let's see, if you unlocked a special movie, you see he eventually died. The body burner looked to be immortal (Look at his injuries, no one could survive that.) The soldiers appeared to have come in huge massive armies, which allow several people to get pretty far, but no one but Kratos could actually rach pandoras box. Kratos could, but probably wouldn't. There would be no gain for him. The architect was told by the Gods to build the Temple, and you did not argue with them. Finally, the Gods were always Gods. The titans were the children of the Sky and Earth, and there children are the current panthoen. (Zues, Aphrodite, Hades, ect.)Is the titan still wandering around with the temple on his back?
