Same here, I couldn't even get to the hydra before I was killed. I tried again and again, but I couldn't make it.
i believe i beat the hydra after around the 20th time (no exageration) but died in the first couple steps of athens. (the minatour things always killed me)

It was easy to beat hydras. In God Mode, Block and Attack and it's timings plays a major role.Anyways, I stucked at the rooftops of Athens I can't kill The golems like creatures with other who went to kratos underground and jump. It was easy to kill them but I didn't work out over the Golem creature.. Besides Medusa Gaze is useful alot in God mode.(I think I said it before in old TUGOWU)

I guess medusas gaze is quiet handy, I never used that thing I always thought that it was useless.
Nah dude, just practice and memorize. Play a game 15 times through that isn't that long to begin with, and you'll get the hang of everything lol. I'm tellin ya Medusa's Gaze man, master it.

i feel your pain. thats why i don't want to play God mode. i'm sure that once you do eventually beat it, it feel like its all worth it, but still, i'm more of an instant gratification guy.

I am one of those ones who did beat it and probably will never do it again as it was quite tough but me put I am proud to say that I did it in the end. I don't think I had a big problem with the Hydra, but I had a problem with the blasted Kratos clones bit because I absolutely HATED that bit in Normal, Hard and God mode.

The thing is that you completed the God mode, I have been stucked alot at roofs of Athen (after climbing the two parallel walls and fighting with somewhat called golems). Though the rule is simple Block,Attack,Block,Attack and so on.
My first time through was with a friend (we switched off)..we quickly found our seperate places and the middle ground. He was good at the puzzles and I was the killer, while we both managed well enough with platforming. We agreed to start with Easy. Immediatly after finishing I made the jump to God Mode where my eyes were opened. It wasn't long before I realised just how pathetic Easy was. It took me most of the day to get to the Boss Minotaur were I would remain for 2 hours. The first run on God Mode ended up being around 10 hours...after this I went on to the Challenge of the Gods wasting about 5 more hours (Challenge 8 & 9).
~Now I can burst through God Mode with relative ease (between 3-5 hours depending on my intention) and Challenge of the Gods is meerly another means of fighting off boredom

it took me a few hours to get to the part to fight the Kratos clones then it took me the rest of the day and night to actually beat them all they are tough and about 40 mins to beat the final stage of Ares it was Hard but well worth it i never gave up. (the key is to not think of giving up it's hard but trust me it's very awesome feeling once you beat it)
I'm thinking of doing some God Mode videos of myself for more than the sake of admiring my greatness as entertaining as that may be. I could possibly provide video aid/guidance for those who need help or just show what I mean when the layout for my strategies is too incomprehensible to be useful. Maybe showoff a glitch/exploit or two. Definately show how I tackle bosses. Mostly for my own amusement though.
~If the quality is high enough I can make use of the footage with Screen Shots for my own uses

No worries...you'll make it up to me with "progress reports" on you voyage into madness.
~You'll find fighting for Hades' Shield quite fun while the conveyor belt at the end of Pandora's Temple to be frustrating (I no know how to bypass this part without having to fight them thanks to Vortex..but I won't use it..and neither will you until you've beaten God Mode legitemately one time through)...the clones will give you love enough to fill all of the void that is space.
