This is complete bs. how are we supposed to do a PAIN+ when Rage is automatic? There should be an option to disable it. And for him to say b/c people would save it and not use it is the reason to make it mandatory. Good screw job.
They've been on a rolll with pissing me off with this entry. They've had some good additions (Tether, World Weapons, etc.), but a mess of bad changes (new navigation, MP in general, 'gods' of MP swapped out, misandry, auto-rage, etc.).
This auto-rage though...that really infuriates me. This is direct robbery of resource management/player control. I don't care if the casual never uses it or anything else becaus they're too stupid too and/or they didn't need it for lesser settings. Not one bit. Forcing it (as with the Onyx nonsense of GoWIII) is really going to irritate the vets. Even more so now that it just turns on when it fills up (not to be turned off).
Even with good utility and such, it is even WORSE than RoS (which took away jumps, other attack options, had crap damage, bad moves, etc.) merely for forcing itself on us. Every run suffers for this bad call. ALL OF THEM. Now we need a damn possession/costume specifically to disable 'rage' because of their f***ing blunder. They don't know what they're doing and need to get out of their opinion vaccuum because they are way beyond the 'wrong direction' for things if they're allowing nonsense like this.
Dos: Thanks for reporting it. I'm now sorely tempted to make a TUGOWU twitter and lay into Papy (and friends) for every stupid call they've made and perhaps suggest undoing mistakes, what to improve with, etc. They should have already released the Beta and SP demo, but they clearly don't want input from their best and brightest among loyal fans (not of them, but the series on which they hammer away at).

You can't even do PAIN with 'rage'. Clearly we have two options:
-Notice when it kicks in and avoid attacking foes entirely *absurd though that is*
-Drop the condition and only have a GoW:A PAIN with 'no relics' as the condition rather than 'no rage' (for lack of the option).
This unless, as noted, they give a way to disable this direct affront (which isn't likely even as a possession/urn or costume).

I was livid when I read that. What next? They were on the right track with more ways to fill the meter. All they had to do was:
-Have hits fill slightly more meter than in GoWII and GoWIII
-Make orb worth slightly higher
-Allow the RotT/RoS system for activation/de-activation (in all regards)
-Grant varying worth (much more so for the higher level foes) in grab kills *much higher for QTEs*
-Use their new idea of rewarding perfect block (parry) and perfect evade *perhaps some other things* to fill it slightly too
Designing it for EVERY fight is insane to begin with, but having it automatically turn on? That's beyond absurd.

Because we will get it anyway and we anger him (as is proper for us to do when he has bungled things so greatly). They appeal to non-fans because of the loyalty of the core and the lack of integrity and appreciation the devs have for us.
