It had nothing to do with luck my friend.
Merely wit and Firefox extentions. Though I must thank Insain and Dr Enigma for the set-up.

Mr-Lucifer
yes, I just stared at the Doctors post for a second, and then I went to type and then I saw Mr Lucifers post.
Now is anyone going to sticky this thread?
Lucifer you swine.
Dammit I rolled out my whole sockpuppet army and still you bested me.
That, in my eyes, makes it one all.
C2S as to what firefox extension you used?
Next time I will be using a separate computer for each account.
Bring it ON!!!!!ONETYONEONEONEELEVENTYONE11
The extension wasn't essential but it allowed me to play games while I waited (that's right, it didn't even have my full concentration).
"ReloadEvery". Basically it refreshes the page every x amount of seconds. I had mine set to five and had my post lined up in another tab. As soon as the counter hit 999 all I had to do was switch and submit.

Mr-Lucifer
well that is very cunning of you.
I was just doing it the old way, watching the thread for the 999th post!
March 11th to January 2nd. I'd consider that pretty quick considering the number of active posters and the events that went down.
Dark Ages? LOL. The BH got swung about a lot but I wouldn't call therm dark ages.
Sure MrAlucards got lonely for a while but its all good,
Posting wasn't scarce, you were scarce.
****ing hilarious, the monocle, top hat, and cane are just delicious.Come now, everyone loves the O RLY owl variants.
Heres another
MrCycleCancel
You know..I have an owl I particularly like too..shall I share? He isn't exactly a friendly chap but what can you do?MrStarkiller
Please do.
Bit of a grey area this one, I trust we all know rule 34?
Good.
Goatseowl, as far as I know, does not exist.
Yet.
I only use owl recreationally. *legorobot*
optiow: There are games other than the GoW franchise?
SRSLY, other games I have gotten into include;
The Soul Reaver franchise. Legacy of Kain: Defiance, was the best. Blood Omen the worst. None of them were that bad.
The incomprehensibly convoluted back story kind of saved them.
Prince of Persia, played and beat all of them, including the latest. *SPOILERS Elika dies then you resurrect her LOL* even the original 2D one from way back when.
Devil May Cry 3 SE. Beat it on DMD but such frantic action is not to my taste.
Anything starwars based. Played a few poor spinoffs, Rogue Squadron, Knights of the Old Republic.
Revenge of the Sith was good, I finished it before the film came out, doing so allowed me to shout out key lines at the cinema. (Yes RLY, In real life I can be a that obsequious, believe it or not.)
"Anakin, I have the highground, don't make me chop your arms and legs off" was my personal favourite.
I played a "Jedi Academy" PC exclusive (I think?) game. Would have been better if I had a PlayStation2 to USB adaptor at the time. Nothing beats the dualshock controller. Huck you Xbox.
Star Wars: the Force Unleashed was superb. Best bit? Hard to say. I have a strange sense of humour so I quite liked the way people could grab railings while you had them suspended with force grab
LoK/BO - "Defiance" is the only one I played of the series. Sort of like how the only MGS title I've seen played through is part 4. The (current) final act. It was quite enjoyable despite a few annoying bits with puzzles via level layout rather then fighting which I always prefer.
PoP - Only ever played the 3D titels. Sands through Two Thrones. Won't likely ever play the newest one.
DMC - Played part 1 and hated it right away. Knew part 2 to be trash. Liked part 3. Part 4 looks enjoyable enough and I've sampled it but that's about as far as I'll go.
Rogue Squadron and a title where we play as 'Dash Rendar' (some dude that knows Han apparently) is about all the 'history' I have with Star Wars up until SW:FU. Which I crushed.
