Don't really know what I would do as an officer but I will be a visible presence. I post here almost everyday and thats gotta be good right?

IQ: I'd personally find it quite humiliating to explain why I should hold the position. If you wish to do it this way for the others, so be it. I invite them to give my reasons for their selection (for those it concernins) along with their own.

I'm beginning to recall Mom asking me to help her with her in exchange for food..the details are very foggy. I don't recall what I was helping with but I think it involved a short trip. She intends to go to Grandpa's over that Ancestry crap they love so much..I believe that's next week or possibly the week after. Hopefully her assistance won't stand in our way.

Iron Man releases tomorrow. I doubt they'll have any fights with Black Sabbath or Filter playing in the background (Ex: Rob Zombie's "Meet the Creeper" not being used in Jeepers Creepers II outside the trailer where it rocked) but it should prove amusing nontheless.

Alucard: A solid case. Being a veteran allows you to help others as relief if I'm not around/active for whatever reason or even as an alternative view/second opinion of sorts. *ex: Say I forget a detail that could help, you could note it*

addaminsain: You are sort of the model "Recruit". The good example that should be set. Though I hold humor and useful tips in GoW, I don't always get along with others..tend to rub them the wrong way and force them to ignore/adapt to me or (in the case of the weak) leave outright. *generally with whining in that case* An officer purely for that purpose is good enough.

That's hardly a concern. Moderation power isn't really what an Officer or even a Leader has per se. At least we can't cause bannings/supsensions directly anyway if I recall right. Even if all the current regulars were Officers, it would be an issue. It isn't for prestige, rather extra abilities for those who can be trusted to use them wisely...for the benefit of the union and its members. It IS a little odd that every other poster would be an Officer, but it has to be said/known that few GS union last let alone continue with regulars. They aren't taken seriously..typically their original creators will abandon them when the luster wears off..often deciding to bury it. (via TUGOWU1)

It's more like being a role-model and Editor (of ourselves and others). Extra responsibilities added to go with the position. Expected to offer up our services...and recognized for the extra help given...Talent with graphics? Please, feel free to create a few donations to TUGOWU...possibly as prizes for a union game.

~Besides GTA4 later on, what else should we do? I doubt Iron Man will be on the web by tomorrow and I don't know if I'll be able to scrap together cash that quickly. Are you driving here, then we use my car to travel until you are ready to leave? Or am I to pick you up then drop you off later? I prefer to plan things like this out a little better..

NOTE: As I expected, there are the typical cheats for GTA4...using the cellphone for activation. I love cheating in GTA, but if you wish to play it fair for a bit..so be it

Lucky you and your early finish Fridays...though you do more hours a week than me anyway...so I can't really complain.

Well, what to say? I hate selling myself, but I'll give it a go. I've been a member of the union for at least a year now, maybe a little longer, I've been fairly active through most of my time here and in the last couple of months it's become even more prominent. Having got the game now as well, I enjoy the union even more, as I can contribute more etc...still stuck on Theseus on my TM run though, and I just got GTAIV, but now I'm going O(ff)T.

Basically, I doubt I'd bring a huge amount to the table as an officer, but since GMG also mentioned me for it, and of course I'd like it, here's my 'application'.

IQ: Sounds good. Though with knowledge of Elliott's ascension of a level per second...it really looks pathetic to grind otherwise by comparison. Without such a thing, it really would take about a year of dedicated playing to reach level 84.. rather then less then 2 hours for 92 >_>

Alucard: We really should list the specific duties of a given officer (can change) and what possibly duties are as we did in the distant past. That will have to wait a bit as I'm just waking up so 'the fog' and 'the hunger' cloud my mind.

Snake: Speaking of Theseus..let us continue about your battle in the proper thread. Your purpose as an Officer is similiar to that of addaminsain's.

Okay, snake, you will be the mediator in charge of games and off topic. This will allow addam and alucard second opinions when needed. For example, if an off topic thread is too off topic or if it's time to put a new game up. This will make my job easier as well, if two people, who have already discussed it, come to me with questions or opinions.

Im not gonna sell myself, if you feel im officer material, then place me there.. if not then dont.. I dont grovel, or beg for positions.. I like to earn titles rather then have to "plead my case"
