Welcome to the first (kind of) TUGOWU Design Contest! :D

Directions:

You must make all of the following: 1. Banner (720p X 140p), 1. Sig (350p X 150-100p*) and 1. Tag (350p X 15p)

*The sig may be up to 150 pixels high, but no smaller than 100 pixels.

~curlfro, almost all of our Designers are missing at the moment..telegrams seem to be in order amirite?  Now is a good time to use games to get the "casual members" posting..Hardcore guys like Soul and myself will post practically anywhere around here.

Don't forget InfernoPirate and Frankazami... They've been quite alive lately. Hopefully it will remain so.

Granted Inferno has been very active lately, even going so far as to do NURs.  However, I speak of both consistently and long-time frequenters of TUGOWU boards.  Mainstays you could say.  It is quite possible he could become one if he continues to post as often as he does now.

 Anything having to do with Design and Games.. IM DOWN FOR!!.. No question.. I'll get to work ASAP and hopefully come up with something spectacular for you gentleman.. ;) Guess this is just one more way for you all to get to know me a little bit.. I LOVE graphic design, and was already starting a few different signatures just for fun for this union.. so this is WONDERFUL timing.. WHOOT!!

 There isn't much room to do much since they are so small.. but as I always say KISS... sometimes the simpler it looks the better it looks and I say you did an awesome job on all three, Love how you kept the theme the same on them all!

Im def going to need this week to work and bring out some of my better work. Been slackin on the creativity for design lately, but I'm hopeing to come in swingin hard here.. LOL. I'll be working on these today while im at my real job.. so *crosses fingers* hopefully while I have some quiet time away from the kiddies at home, I'll be able to concentrate and pull a rabbit out my hat!

There's a large list of God of War style sigs here that you can use freely.  But just so you know, this is not the place to ask this.

Not really, I don't think animation counts all that much in my opinion.

I think its about style, and creativity, the clean crisp graphics, ones that dipict the game to the fullest..

speaking of designs and images, curlfro...what did you animate that gif with?
some of my apps are very old and make my animated gifs incredibly bad quality.
oh, and encase i didnt quite make it clear, that sig is awesometirasus

I used Imageready CS2.  I can just upload a .mov file and it automatically converts it into a .gif.

In case anyone does do that gamespot glitch (boting more than once) I have a better idea. Its not as proffesional but It'll work better.

Anyone who wants to vote for someone has to post who they vote for in the thread, that means no on can get away with voting twice and the participants can't vote for themselves (not that they would but its a precaution).

Just an idea.
