A great Idea for the next spyro

In the next spyro, he goes back to his orignal platforming times, but with a little twist, the dark master maefor is revived! how does this happen well, when we look at the original spyro story before the legend of spyro series, spyro had just defeated the scorcerer in shadow legacy. well, in the new spyro, the dark master is revived because the scorcerer and scorceress are well, dead. they held the curse that kept malefor dead. Malefor is revived in the forgotten realms from year of the dragon. remember how they said dragons lived there a thousand years ago? well, those dragons are from the legend of spyro. but malefor isn't in the form of himself, he s the form of.... RIPTO! remember how ripto is the fnal boss in many spyro games, well, that's because malefor contolled ripto and could keep making new forms of ripto. So, spyro will go to new lands, including OUTER SPACE, where he can jump and glide twice as high and long, in the end he faces the dark master.

That's an interesting idea for the next game. It would be great to see the new and old universes mix.

Sadly, the LoS games take place in a completely different dimension than the older games do. That's one of the main things that separates the fans of Spyro...

Trying to mix the new and old would be a difficult thing to do, and might be too confusing to attempt.

I also heard of a Spyro fan-based movie during my life on the spyroforums, but I haven't heard anything of it since.

I have heard of that also on the fanfiction. I forgot what it was called but it is going to be based on a Spyro fanfic. They are searching for voice actors at the moment. I also don't know how long it will actully take them to make it.

you guys actually liked the gameplay? whats so fun about walking 20 feet, fighting annoying enemies for 2 minutes, and repeat that over and over again for about 10 times a level?StreetBallerlol

Normally, it takes more to a game for me to like any game this much, but playable Cynder alone is enough for me. ;)

Spyro was great to play as, but after playing the game with another person, I realized how effective it was to utilize both speed and strength at the same time. The enemies went down in seconds with two people. Twister and Snow Storm spamming is fun! But there's other fun things you can do, and I'll post a video later of something hilarious we did. :D

They definitely have to include co-op, preferably online co-op, in the next game. ^_^

Anyway, what you described Sonicguy is what many games do now. Try playing something like God of War, Kingdom Hearts, any Final Fantasy game, and many others if you want to see what other games offer annoying enemies every 20 feet or even just a footstep away every second sometimes.

How would 4 played work, though? Do you mean something like people play 2 on 2?bd0g5

I was thinking like actual 4 people playing together. Now that I think of it, this could be achieved on any console except the PS3 and PS2. You can get 4 local players on 360 if you have 2 wireless and 2 wired controllers (or maybe if all were wireless it'd still work).

Even gamespot's review said spyro 3 was a rehash, but It's easy to forgive. And later in the review t says spyro was fomulaic, and that's exactly what I like. So, what my wonder is, why is krome studios still making spyro games with horrible gameplay,spyro has basically no popularity, especally without advertising. (end of rant)StreetBallerlol

You're forgetting that GameSpot have a big ego and wouldn't dare admit their reviews and game-scoring is based on a specific reviewer's opinion. You do have a very prejudiced attitude, don't you?

I post as regularly as Joe and Drago yet I don't even get half the attention they do. I've contributed ideas here quite regularly and don't see how basically everyone can just turn a blind eye to me. I understand your frustration, Alec. You DO contributed alot to this Union, you're probably one of the people with the most senority to the Spyro Forums...it is a shame that you get ignored as you do.

I hope you believe that I do appreciate everything you have done here and understand everything you've done in the past. It WAS your idea to bring Team Spyro to the USU, and also your ideas that greatly contributed to our under-construction emblem system.

Thanks man. You know its a real huge relief to know that someone here has such understanding. I like contributing here and I don't want to be tossed aside all the time. I'm even more glad you're the leader now. It's very fitting from what you've just said.

Maybe it's because everyone's kinda your fan and can't be bothered with anyone else? I suppose, just like everywhere else on the net, I'm the underdog who has to rise through all the crap to get noticed. It's the same kinda thing with the Trance community on YouTube. There was this dude TranceDevotee, who was basically the most popular Trance uploader of all time until his suspension. The kinda Vice-President of this popularity was Animedreamer240, also suspended. I think 2waregast is the newest popular one. But I think I might finally be next in line. :) It isn't obvious, but the statistics certainly show I'm appreciated, at least! :P

So, bottom line, I'm staying. But the number of people I'm staying here for has dropped quite a bit, it seems. I won't say who. God forbid for me to offend anyone further.

Seriously. I can go on about how wrong that post was, but I really don't want to start an argument here. When you say all I do is obvious stuff, or repeats of other posts, I just don't get it. The only time I repeat posts of other people is when I was about to say the same thing, but they posted before me. I hate getting stuff like that happening, when I don't even do anything. It happens IRL a bit too much.

That's the nicest way I could put it. If I was going to say how I really feel, there would be way too much flaming happening. I could see how you know I was talking to Sonicguy, but that was still...Offensive? (I don't get offended by stuff that isn't true, but it still annoys me when it happens.)
