I've never played Final Fantasy, but maybe a fight from Tekken 5 could count.
Getting one of the players to the "Tekken Lord" rank, the highest in the game takes a long time and is extremely hard at times.....But I did it...:) With Lee Cholan.

Tekken Lord took ages for me to get... Then after that there's dark lord! Which I never got, even after 300 victories...
he only reason i got that far was becuase my brother was helping me out by calling out the buttons to press. other than that, im a prett average mortal kombat player
my favorite fight would be the one and only time i got an Ultimate Mortality in Mortal Kombat. *tear* too bad it will never happen again...Essence220
I actually mastered a couple of the Ultimate Fatalities. Too bad I'm terrible at Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. But my brother is really good with Mileena, and he only picks her everytime.
Do any of you still play online with a PS2? Perhaps he would be interested in fighting against one of you online. I wish I could, but I would get slaughtered and wouldn't put up much of a fight... XD
I don't have an online thing for the ps2 but Ever_Gamer does so whenever we hang out some time I will bring my game and I will tell you that I will play online. Right now...well just beating the game with every single chacter....I should be done in 6 monthes.
im torn, really. i actually learned the controls for the playstation on both games. they are both very near and dear to my heart, so i could never choose
Streets Of Rage pwns all other fighting games if you ask me :P I wish developers would return to the Beat 'Em Up genre rather that just arena-fighting games all the time. I love games that have an actual story. SOR is great. Final Fight is horrible. Even thought it came before SOR, I consider it a ripoff. SOR is the true king of side-scrolling Beat 'Em Ups! :D
Ahh, Tekken is just an arena-fighting game though. I'm not really a fan. It probably just has a story the way Soul Calibur IV does, in that it's very slight.
Yeah, you should definately check out Streets Of Rage! You can get number 2 on Live Arcade. I've got 11 of the 12 achievements. The last one is just insane. :?
Except I don't think it's what your talking about in tekken lol. But tekken has a pretty good storyline that enjoyed. Btw the link shows my favorite action rpg which I got for my birthday :). Of course I haven't played too many fighting games besides soul calibur, tekken, and mortal kombat so I don't know of any others -_-.

Speaking of which, I just did some Sonic 2 on Xbox Live with some people. I played against 3 people in succession. The first 2 were absolute quitters and left as soon as I beat them once! But the third guy played right through every zone with me. He wasn't too great but hey, props to him for enduring it all and not wussing out. ;)

I don't play my GC much anymore. But I'm just finished with a lot of my games. I still have loads to get though which I haven't tried properly. Wario World looks like loads of fun :D
