If You Could Change...

If you could change anything about any spyro game, what would you change? (this includes the deletion or addition of characters, new levels, scripts, and things like that)

For me, (I know not too many others will think the same but) The addition of Hunter into the new series kinda made me mad. It just didnt seem like he belonged in the new series.

I think they should add one of 2 things

1.They should put more of the Guardian Dragons.

2.If not, add me to it (lol I wish)

This is what I wish could happen to all Legend of Spyro games...

I kinda agree. Although, if they did take him out, they would have had to come up with a different beginning to the story line.

Here is an interesting fact: I did not see sparx in the comic-con video or the interview with elijah wood video. Did anyone see him?

Exactly. Both of you are correct. Letting Sparx have a little missions of his own would pretty much take him out of Spyro's shadow. For one it would probably take away from the memory of different missions for Spyro and Cynder, but at least it would put more variety into the game.

But I don't think that Sparx shooting stuff out of his mouth would really go well in D.o.t.D. Let's keep that where it belongs....XD

Actually, you all remember the movie "Cars"? When the first video game came out, I rented it and beat it in three days (but really enjoyed it (I loved the movie!)) There, they had a choice of having a difficult gameplay, or an easy gameplay.

I could really see that in a Spyro game. I don't think this one though. This game is so awesome from what we are seeing, that it would definitely be worth the challenge!!!

It puzzles me why some games still lack difficulty modes. As long as they aren't always predicting your actions and don't have ridiculously increased stats, then it makes for a good replay of the game.

I like it when you feel pressured, and are forced to plan wisely. Otherwise, high difficulties cause death quick. Now that's fun.

I vote for the option of difficulty levels.

Same here I need a challenge in games so I can keep coming back to the game and keep trying to try to overcome parts that are holding me back. You feel very satisfied when you accomplish this feat. Also having a reward for beating the game at a high difficulty level helps you along as well :).swordmaster3

In Gran Turismo 4, there's a competition where you have to race in Indy Cars. So all the cars are exactly alike. Same speed, gear ratios, braking systems, tire tracking, EVERYTHING.

It's actually my favorite because for 60 laps of the race, you have 5 other cars right on your tail.

One mistake and you go right to the back of the pack.

It's intense fighting to the front place, and even more exciting staying there. But finishing in first? Oh my God, there's not a better feeling than that....

I suck at close racing like the NASCAR games. I always try to pass, but end up wrecking others or myself. I have never completed a nascar race that was over 50 laps. LOLs.

I suck at Gran Turismo games. 2 is the only one i can get far in.bd0g5

I'm a car fanatic, so of course I own every one (except for GT5) WHY IS IT ONLY FOR THE PS3?!?!?!?!? :(

But other than that, so far I've completed 96.7% of Gran Turismo 4. It'll be the third out of four Gran Turismo's I've beaten 100%. :D

Yeah, Vince, I love Gran Turismo. Sounds like your a fan yourself...or in cars in general! :lol: Same here.
But unforunately, I only have a PS2, so I can't play on-line with a PS3 or 360.

If anything, I can go over my best friends house and play on his PS3 online with other people. That could work. ;)

I didn't know that there was any car simulation games for the PC though. Can you name a few so I can look them up?

I have the GRID Demo for the XBOX 360 and its incredibly fun! As for Grand Turismo (sry for spelling) I have one of the first for the PS1. Its very fun even now to go back and Rally/street/road corse race.

Anyway, kinda driftin' off topic, but thats ok.

Do you remember the Spyro the Dragon board? That was the board I came from before LGD told me about this.
After a short while on there, the usual people who posted on that board, me and some other friendly people, became so much like a family that we just plain talked! About anything that happened today, whatever was on our minds, it became more of a social board rather than a Game Board! :lol:

But I can understand if you don't want the USU like that. If after a while if it gets out of hand, we can create a topic (like the "Off-Topic" Topic) so people can just talk. That, my friend, is what builds unions and friendships. ;)

I don't really want to change any of the story or anything because thats all ready copy written, and my mind won't let me touch it, so sticking with gameplay stuff... First thing I would change is in ANB and TEN, so that when your recovering from an attack that knocked you down, you don't keep taking contant damage from the 5 mobs standing around you. and then in DoTD, good god, when i run up a hill can I please run at something faster than -95% average speed, and for the AI...

and lastly... for the whole LOS seriese... get some better unlockables, than just the CONCEPT ART... good god, concept art is like the apsolute BASIC and STANDARD for unlockables, ETN did a pretty good job with being able to unlock the 5 or so arena matches in order to unlock dark spyro, that was pretty cool, ANB, for it's first game it's got the video with Elijah ok at least theres something, DoTD...

yes the concept art is all very nice, and I totaly spent a few hours looking at it to, try and learn, and impove my own art skills, but making it a video that you couldn't pause, SUCKED, in ETN you fliped through every picture one by one, yes, it was a little anoying, but I could stare at each picture as long as I wanted. And though DoTD seperated all the concept art into catagories that hardly helped. so pictures aside... COME ON! wheres the extra bonus leveles and after beeting those levels unlockeing MORE ARMOR (idk if you guys rememebr but there a picture somewhere in one of the videos where Spyro and Cynder are wearing this... like GODLY armor thats not even in the game, Spyros was gold I think, and Cynders was this spikey red-ish metal, red ruby encrusted thing that looks HAWT [you can actualy pic these armors for your draogn character in that "Spyro's Lair" website]), for god sake, there should have totaly been a "New game+" function at the end so I could play it all over with the armor I all ready got, breath I all ready upgraded, and KEEP adding to my gameplay time. Dude... and then how about after you beat the game,, you can upgrade alll your breathes even more... idk how much even just one more time and giving it some new super dazeling flair would rock hardcore...

pant... pant... pant... I'm pretty disapointed with you Spyro game makers, in the easter egg department *glares*, other than that... GOOD JOB! *gives a thumbs up*

Thus far, I'd have to say Sparx was funniest in DoTD, I L. M. A. O. when sparx started that song when they encounter the golem at the dragon city
