I decided to make this since I noticed a lot of game similarities when I am playing the legend of Spyro series. I will tell everybody the similarities in how I see them from the beginning of ANB to the end of TEN. WARNING: THERE ARE SOME SPOILERS IN THIS LIST SO IF YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED THE FIRST TWO LEGEND OF SPYRO GAMES AND WANT TO ENJOY THE STORYLINE PLEASE DO NOT READ ON.

1. The first thing I noticed was that the apes looked to me like lurkers from the game "Jak and Daxter."

2. The dragon guardians reminded me of the sages from "Jak and Daxter." The colors of them were exactly the same. And volteer had the same personality as the blue sage. While Terrador seemed to be slightly like the red sage. Also if you want to include Cynder in this one; She sort of like Gol and Mida (the antagonists of "Jak and Daxter" who studied dark eco; Cynder was powered by darkness.

3. When you defeat enemies you earn gems to powerup your breaths. This is very similar to god of war where you destroy enemies to earn orbs to powerup your weapons. And the upgration screen seemed very similar to the upgration screen in god of war (you put experience in something and you can never get it back).

4. Cynder needed the energies of the 4 dragon guardians to release the seal of the dark master so he can cover the world in darkness. In Jak and Daxter Gol and mida used the powers of the 4 sages to power a robot (I think) so they can release a dark eco silo and flood the world with dark eco.

5. The apes at the beginning of the game in ANB look very much like metal heads in Jak 2.

6. Spyro jumping from Ship to Ship reminded me of a level in zone of enders the second runner where you had to destroy a fleet of BARHAM battleships.

7. Spyro turns into dark Spyro in the second game. Jak turns into dark jak in Jak 2.

Well I hope you enjoyed these similarities I noticed. If you don't know what I am talking about in number 6 I would be happy to make a link showing you the part that I am talking about.

I am actully not sure. He could be golden or something...anyway what I can do is make a link to two songs from two other games that would probally fit light Spyro and Malafor perfectly (I have been doing this sort of thing on the dawn of the dragon board along with godofmadness43 and montecristo709 since we were finding songs for me to download into a game makeing system called rpg maker 2003 where I can create anything I want in rpg form. I told godofmadness and montecristo about this and they allowed me to turn their fanfics into games. Once I accomplish this I will somehow buy or find a camera so I can download the whole game on video for youtube).

Light Spyro: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ihbb1JWVRYg&feature=related

Malafor: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y0p07qajeP0&feature=related

Please note that these are just songs that I think will sound similar to the actully chacters. Also light Spyro may not even be in the last game.

I have another prediction here. What if the next Spyro game has side quests. I am thinking this because when I was watching a gamplay video of it I noticed for a few seconds the words "New objective." If the game has objectives in it then it might have side objectives in it. And since all 11 worlds are free roaming and can be accessed at any time unlike the first two games it kind of leads me to believe that they might do something to extend on the gameplay a bit.

Also:

Free roaming worlds - Jak and Daxter series although the original series sort of gave you a free roaming world but I think the game will be more like Jak and Daxter's free roaminess.

Objectives - like missions for Jak 2 and Jak 3.

Button minigames in certain parts of the game - god of war's button minigames in certain parts of the game (you can see it being done in the gameplay video too).

Note: These are prediction similarites. They may or may not be true.

That was something I noticed too. Just being the fact that there are objectives, makes this game have an excellent replay value. Think of it. Meeting an objective means that you have to do every single thing in order to win and go to the next stage. This willl mean that you can do whatever you want, in whatever order you want, whenever you want. And even if side objectives were made into the game, that would make it even better. That's one of the reasons why I'm going to love this game so much. The sheer fact that we now have objectives....

Yeah, making the game a objective based game is great for this game!

I'm so glad it'll actually be apart of the game!!! :)

Hello everybody. I just discovered another similarty.

The dragon challenges are similar to the challenges of the gods from god of war. Except Spyro only has to do half the amount of challenges then in god of war and can quit the game and transport yourself to another challenge if you unlocked it. Basically an easier version then was offered in god of war.

There are alot of similarities that Spyro has to other games of the past....
But like Drago said before, in today's age, it's impossible to be "original" because basically everything has been done at least once....
But making the same thing, but in a different format and a different game, makes it more interesting.....
Especially when your favorite character is apart of it....:D
