Hunter & Yoda
Hunter is depicted as a sort of laid-back skater type. While he's a loyal friend and marginally knowledgeable with basic tasks, he seems to have trouble grasping the severity of Spyro's missions and can be relatively naïve and gullible, leading him to be captured and tricked easily. Like his name implies, he is a very competent longbow hunter, and is strong and agile enough to hold his own in a fight, if need be. His physical skills also make him a phenomenal skateboarder, and he often prides himself in his applying his species' speed to everything he does, and expresses minor jealousy or pride when Spyro breaks or fails to break his skateboarding records, respectfully. He also seems to be a bit of a conspiracy buff, with an interest in space and extra-terrestrials.
Hunter hates to get wet. "It's a cat thing..."
Yoda was one of the most renowned and powerful Jedi Masters in galactic history, who was known for his legendary wisdom, mastery of the Force and skills in lightsaber combat. Yoda served as a member of the Jedi High Council in the last centuries of the Galactic Republic and reigned as Grand Master of the Jedi Order before, during and after the devastating Clone Wars. Following the Battle of Geonosis Yoda held the title of Master of the Order in addition to that of Grand Master. In his centuries of service to the galaxy and the Force, Grand Master Yoda had a hand in the training of near to all the Jedi in the Order, including such luminaries as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ki-Adi-Mundi and Oppo Rancisis; all of which would come to serve on the Jedi Council along with him.

Malefor & Darth Vader
Malefor was a purple dragon and a talented one at that. He mastered fire, ice, earth, electricity, and many other elements. The Dragon Elders willingly taught him how to master the elements, but his power kept on growing. When he would not stop, the Elders banished him to exile. After that, he took on the title the Dark Master and built a fortress. He recruited an army of loyal Apes and taught them how to artificially harness the power of the gems, which are the Dragons' lifeforce. His malice was so great, that it split the Earth and created the Mountain of Malefor, also called the Well of Souls, where he was imprisoned.
Darth Vader was a brilliant strategist and was still, despite his weakened powers, one of the greatest pilots in the galaxy. His armor did not dull the precognition ability he possessed since childhood and he was able to predict the movements of his targets during dogfights with pinpoint precision. He still possessed his former persona's amazing engineering skills, having personally overseen the design of both his TIE Advanced x1 fighter and the second Death Star's construction. His skill with the lightsaber, developed during the many battles and skirmishes of the Clone Wars and the Great Jedi Purge, was legendary and was even further honed through the Jedi that he dueled following the Purge. All of these abilities, however, were secondary to his incredible mastery of the Force.
