Spyro DOTD gets a score of.....WTF, A _______ 5 OUT OF 10!?!?!?

U read teh topic title, and I AM SOOOOOOOO ______!!!!!!! IT DESERVES A 20 OUT OF 10!!!!!!

Polo and everyone else who might be outraged at this, it's just a review. As it was already said, you should have expected something like this. I guessed they would rate this around 6 out of 10, and I was close.

Also Polo, I can tell you why you shouldn't care about their review anyway, but not here. You know where to ask if you want to still know...

And that goes for anyone else too. GameSpot would ban whoever they wanted to for stating the truth about their ways...

I don't think there's been a game that's been so near to 10 since Perfect Dark on N64. That gets a 9.9 on here...Iceferno

Those got perfect scores from them, and it's absolute BS...

I really wish I could say why those games got perfect scores, besides the fact they are massively overhyped, but see the first part of the message for why I can't say...

I saw that right when I went on, now this is just ****ed up.

To be honest, I didn't think DotD would be as good as you guys though it was going to be. When I got it, I was amazed on how fun it was.

I hope this is just some random joke, or some people need to learn to rate.

Hey, now Tony Hawk 3 is actually pretty decent. GTA4 I've yet to try, but they're always expanding on what even GTA: San Andreas could offer. If you want overrated, then look no further than Halo. I don't see how that one's so great.

Besides, isn't thinking Spyro should get a perfect 10 a bit fanboy-ish? Sure, I like Spyro. But you've gotta be reasonable with ratings. I think I gave Spyro 1 a 9.5. That just seems the right kinda score for it really. :)

I know Halo is pretty overrated, but some people that haven't even played it are making it sound like a bad game, just because of the hype. That doesn't really make a game any better or worse.

All I'm saying is, Halo isn't that bad, and it shouldn't be judged on how much the hype is.

Oot was the first game to be really be called flawless, and since I remember playing it at its time, it was.

But yeah, giving it a 10 would be a bit much. Spyro 1 getting a 9.5 is probably the best and highest rating a Spyro game will ever get.SOADjoe19

Exactly. I definately think Spyro 1 is worthy of such a high score. :) For the first game of it's series, it really shows potential. :)

That's something which always needs to be considered (this is a kinda thankyou for when you agreed with a similar thing I said ;)). It kinda reminds me of back when I was in Primary school. Everyone had an N64 or PS1 when I had to make do with a Genesis. They said it was crap just cuz it was slightly old. OH NO! Sheesh. What a bunch of asses. Just because I wasn't spoiled by my parents... anyway. Me and Joe's point still stands! It's about what you think. ;)

Well, I did play Halo, Brandon. Both 2 and 3 also.
I guess because it was basically the same thing each game, I didn't really think too highly of it.

But honestly, I have no room to talk. Gran Turismo is the same thing everytime but with just more of everything. :P

well this doesn't phase me much because I f-ing loved the game, but it's still a negative thing to hear, to be honest DOTD is a lot better then some other games that got high scores but, what can you do... oh I know... you can look at the user score of all the ppl that played the game, yes it's useualy higher than gamespot's score but for good reason, and that jsut gives me the warm and fuzies... I should review this game when I have time

Your right, Dakuu. All these users scores are much higher than the pro score. Perhaps GS shouldn't even have a pro score and just let it's users make their own scores!

Besides, that's who we (or at least I) listen to more often anyway.

Okami, in my opinion, is a must by. It makes the perfect Christmas gift. (That means get someone to get it as a present for those who want it.) :)

It's a game that deserves the insane hype some other ones have gotten, but sadly, it's obscured by all these other "big name" titles... :(

I agree......except of maybe MGS4.

Than again....I am the biggest fanboy of it.....lol

But ya, I mean, this game deserves a 7 at least!
