To answer your question, yea, anyone can visit The Online Gaming Union for gamertags, but lets still keep this topic active so we know FOR SHURE that the person is interested in spyro... Know what i mean?

Here's what my research tells me, so you can feel slightly better:

There are four different types of PS3 systems around right now. The following is a list of the models and their backwards compatibility:

20 GB: Plays both PS1 and PS2 games (Discounted) :arrow: This one is the hardest to find, and has no wireless connection and memory card slots.

40 GB: Plays only PS1 games :arrow: This one is the model you will most likely find in stores right now.

60 GB: Plays both PS1 and PS2 games (Discounted) :arrow: Best model, in my opinion, and the one I will hunt down, somehow.

80 GB: Plays PS1 and most PS2 games (PS2 games don't work on the newer models.) :arrow: Avoid this one, because it's a messy one.

So all of them can play PS1 games, but some individual games have problems playing correctly. This is usually fixed through the firmware updates, but don't always count on it.

about the backwards compatibility subject:

xbox has the same problem... the 360 cant play some original xbox games. You have to download a program and burn it on a CD if you dont have xbox live in order to play some older games...

O-well, doesnt really effect me, cuz i never had a "Xbox 1".

• Banjo-Kazooie (Another one of my favorite Platforming games of all time!!! I also recommend this one to everyone. :D )
• Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix (I always loved Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo. You guys who like Tetris should play it. :) )
• Tomb Raider Underworld (The 360 version gets exclusive DLC! :D )
• Call of Duty 4
• Halo 3 (To see what all the hype is about)
• Fable 2 (I have to play the first game before this one, though)
• Grand Theft Auto IV (For the ones who played this one, how fun was it?)
• Blue Dragon (It looks interesting for an RPG...)
• Portal: Still Alive (The cake is...you know the saying. :lol: )

Nice wishlist! So Puzzle Fighter is like Tetris, eh? You may enjoy Tetris Splash. I wanna get that. I also wanna get Banjo-Kazooie, Blue Dragon, Fable 2 (after the first one ofcourse) and maybe GTA4. But you all know what my next 360 game is.. 8)

Out of those, I only have CoD4 (I never play it), Halo 3, and GTA4. I might get Banjo Kazooie, i'm not sure.

All I play now are sport games... Maybe you could try a RB/GH game some time? They're fun when you're good at them.

You should get Banjo Kazooie, if you like Platformers. Trust me, it was immensely fun on the N64, so it's a must play if you haven't already.

Sport games are the only type of game I can't stand to play, and I don't think I could play Rock Band or Guitar Hero. I know I would be terrible at them...
