Where Was Our Purple Friend?

For those of you that dont know what E3 is, its a yearly event that allows game publishers to show off their newest games to the whole world somtimes long before they are released. E3 had all the newest games shuch from "Banjoe and Kazuie" to "Mercinaries: World in Flames" but sadly, our purple friend spyro, was nowhere to be found on the gaming floor.

However, it wasnt a 100% total downfall. I mean, we did get 2 new spyro screenshots, and some new downloadable content from Activision's site. I guess we will just have to wait till later.

Oooh... E3 was great. Especially when Microsoft presented their part.

yes, what i ment by "downloadable content" was the screensaver and wallpapers.

Its all so very confusing... I think Sierra is a smaller division of a major game Publisher called Activision. And sierra is partnered with Etranges Libellules who auctally Designed the game. Umm... yea if that made sence to you, then congratulations! LOL

Im not really shure why Activision doesnt publish the game themselfs, maby its because if a game takes a fall, the smaller company name will take the fall and not Activision.

Anyway, to tell you the truth, im still confused about how sierra, activision, and Etranges Libellues are all tied together. If i said somthing wrong in the above, please clear it up for me. I would greatly apperciate it!

Thats a basic storyline for the first game. If you are interested they have storylines for the other games too.

The classic megaman games are very challenging unlike the X. The megaman zero games were preaty difficult too and the battle network games were very rpg like. Anyway I like the final fantasy series much more then the megaman series especially 7 in fact I have final fantasy 7 for the ps1, Advent Children, and dirge of cerburus. It has a really good storyline. Actully all of square soft/square enix games have really good storylines to them I think everybody should check them out.

That depends if you are interested in an RPG. If you ever played one, then the Final Fantasy series might be good for you.

I can tell you about Final Fantasy VII-IX, X, and XII, since I have completed those. I've played only a small part of the others. I would recommend Final Fantasy X if you want to play one, because it should be the easiest to find that is around my top favorites.

Burnout 3: Takedown was a awesome game. I played the demo on NFS: Underground 2 for hours and hours. It may be older than Burnout:Revenge/dominator, but i still think its the best!

I had the feeling I would see Burnout 3 mentioned. To tell you the truth, that one already made my list of games to get, since I've heard good things about it.

NIce. If I may recommened, for the PS3, Midnight Club: L.A.

If you've played any of the other Midnight Club's, I have all of them up until 3 when they stopped for the PS2, then you'll love this one. This time you can actually see the driver, Ford finally gave RockStar their license to let Mustangs be apart of the game, and the city is beautiful in the graphic engine of the PS3.

It's also available for the 360. Although there is only one city, L.A, compared to MC3: Remix, that one city is bigger than San Diego, Detroit, Atlanta, and Toyko in the other game combined!!!!!!!!!!

I would go with a wii first the only reason being that the ps3 has the lowest amount of games for it (and one high price tag to go along with that limitation) while the wii has already one of the largest collections ever known and you can buy other wii games, nintendo games, sega genesis games, and other classics off the wii shop channel. The wii comes out with new upgrations every so often which improve your wii experience. This includes a everybody votes channel which allows you to vote on a questoin and see which choice has the popular vote (it may sound simple but for some reason it is increble fun to do. Weird huh?). You can also get a nintendo channel which gives you the latest updates to a wii or ds system news. You can also tell the weather quickly when you are going out and see the latest news (perfect for current events for school ;)). But you probally want to know more about the games right? Well first off your first experience with wii sports will keep you glued to the screen for hours. But afterwards their are a ton of other games that are awsome for your wii. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption - one word awsome. You can explore beutiful designed planets and enviorments while blowing stuff up and solving puzzles. No more heroes: A game where you kill every thing in your path. Need I say more. Sure I will! The music is awsome! And this is a game that you just can't stop playing even if you wanted to. It's rated M though so expect lots of blood. Super Smash bros. brawl: If you don't own this game you have no clue what you are missing. Fire Emblem: Radient Dawn - In my opinion it's the best strategy game ever. Mario Galaxy: It's awsome! Mario Kart wii: One of the best racing games you can get.

I could keep going on and on about how much the wii rocks but I will stop now since this is becoming a big wall of text :P. Anyway I hope this helps with your desision.

All those games you mentioned, swordmaster3, are worth adding to my collection.

Although, I agree that there isn't a whole lot out there for the PS3 right now, some of the future titles like Silent Hill: Homecoming (I like Silent Hill games), Resident Evil 5 (Four was for the most part, fun), and Street Fighter IV (One of the only fighting games I'm not terrible at), I am looking forward to.

Such a hard decision. Both systems look so promising right now. I hope I don't have to flip a coin over this.

Ha-ha. Actually, even though I've played Street Fighter before, I feel that Tekken is still a way better fighting game. Maybe it's because I've played it longer and have mastered about every game with Hwoarang and Lee Cholan, but it just comes more naturally to me....

The Xbox 360 does have great games, but I really need to get a PS3 first. I want to beat my brother in some fighting games online, and he is getting a Playstation 3.

Anyway, forget my post before about my decision on what system I was getting first. All the games I want are on the Xbox 360 anyway. :)

It actually feels good breaking my loyalty with Sony after these past few years, and it's for the best, hopefully...
