You'll find stories that are of pure fantasy that takes place in a completely new world (NuWorld). If you like fantasy stories, this website is right up your alley. I enjoy reading those stories myself, especially a specific saga of two characters I know about very well in a game.
Unfortunately, this website died a few years ago, but I do wish it was back up again. There were not enough people to keep it alive, although it did have its moment in the sun for a while.
