I get it once in a while, I just lack inspiration when I get it. Normally to surpass writers block, I listen to some music ... that normally gets me going ...
I actually havn't gotten writers block in forever. Usually when I write a story, I know exactly what is going to happen next. That is just how I write, but i do get it occasionally. The last one was while writing the first chapter in my Elerria series. I used to get it A LOT when I was younger though, and it pissed me off greatly, because I was being graded on the work. The best way that I found to get away from getting a writer's block is to finish everything else that needs to be done first, so that you have a clear mind to think well. Then on a scratch paper write down what you would like to cover in the upcoming pages/paragraphs you plan on writing, and just go on writing by that standard. This only works for actual storie's though, not poems. I am not the best poem writer, so I wouldn't know about getting writing blocks in that area. Hope this info helped in any way.
