The game is really swet!!!! i tried it onb steam the complete3 version for free ...it was a promotion to try it out for some days .....nopw its gone ....and i loved it Just like BF2 but more intense and realistictank fighting totaly rocks....but sometimes it can be a bit complex for the greenhorn....but its pure fun for ww2 shooters veterans 8) lost of weapons vehicvles ....great maps....and believe it or not .....its not has heavy on the PC has CoD2......but the graphics are a bit more pixelish...but don let that ruin your fun!:P enjoy 8)
Yes Red Orchestra is an awesome game. If you think you are badass in CoD or Day of Defeat you are gonna suck for some time in RO. The realism factor blows these games out of the water. The maps are very large as well as veichle warfare. Try it out but you do need steam. STEAM ISN"T THAT BAD!

Ive had this game for awhile now.  Id recommend it if you either Like fighting on the earten front, or are a fan of armor sims. Id also recomed a pretty powerful rig to run it though becuase its a resource whore with HUGE maps and lots to details. Its kinda like BF 1942: Forgotten Hope mod with Call of Duty 2's graphics and WWII Online like vechical simulation.
Good game. I have played a lot of the CoD series and must say that Red Orchestra is a nice breath of fresh air. Random headshot while running and jumping is only tolerable to a certain point. Then, after hours of agonizing frustration as to how in the hell this guy just jumped up with his sniper rifle scoped in and hit your foot, killing you instantly, you realize that sometimes a realistic, slow-paced game is what you need.
yes, i did, icarus. by the way, i can play the same game which i downloaded in trial period. i didn't had time then but before i started to download it i tried one trick (no reverse enginering) and now i can play it with bots. not in online though. :( but fair enough.
i've played RO some days for now with bots and it's awesome! truly great game. great moments. ... taking down t-34 with panzerfrust on hip (don't have time to aim) before it can roll over you, immideatly switch to g43 to take down 5 russians, then another tank comes, quickly sprint to cover as being in under intensive fire. quickly find more panzerfrusts, take down russians... then u have to reload... aaargghhh... dodging one russians ppshd spray... RELOADED! bang... man down! but already 5 more guys are coming, with another T-34. let's take another panzerfrust (usually tank need 2 hits to be destroyed) and run behind corner... 6 shots - 5 dead bodies. now let's deal with tank.... woah another one is coming.... luckyly first tanks crew jumped out to reach for me better... couple of shots and now i have to just sit behind tank and pick down new tankcrews who wants to reach newly emptied tank. now this another T starts shooting me. got to find cover quickly! smoke grenade, sprint, switch aim, 2 shot - another tank down .... next wave.... where is backup!!! i can't hold this point forever.. i'm already injured.... just one example of happenings .... i won't start speaking about giving sniper covers, picking tens of nazis when they try to invade a fort, making duels with tanks, means who can reload faster after shots aso. great game! i believe that battles with real gamerswould be even better. bots are stupid some times.
I have it. Amazing game, never get board of it. Tweak the graphics and the game looks stunning. The 3D Sound with EAX is amazing, and it really adds to the immersion.
u mentioned that u got new router and internet connection. i don't know much about router's and firewall's inner life but still i think u can resolve this problem if u really want. :) and u can always ask help from someone.
how don't you have password? is it ever changed? if nor, then it should be on manual like user: admin pw: 123456 if router is rented then it's logical u van't get in. that case call to their helpdesk and tell what u want. as i understood u recently got another router too. i must have password for that or what?
u mean firewall problem with second router? to be true i believe this is typical PEBKAC situation all the way starting u with u can't play online but ok. :) enough for it. i tried to help.

I've never played this game, I've heard a lot of talk about it though. My computer is starting to get slow and outdated, so it can't handle many games anymore.
