Its tough to say. My favorite characters are probably Thumper in TM2, and Mr. Grimm in Black. I've always liked the speed characters with a good special.
I liked Orbital from Twisted Metal 4, probably because he has the coolest car in the game, and he's the only character who isn't really evil, demented, or screwed up in the head. I also loved Mr. Slam(m) in all the games, just cause of his special ability.
Warthog was cool in pretty cool in any Twisted Metal game, except TMHOETE's Lost levels version of him. He was extremely weakened for some unknown reason. By the way, Simon Whittlebone was the driver of Mr. Slam(m), I believe only in Twisted Metal 2 and Twisted Metal Head On (Extra Twisted Edition). Was he the driver in Twisted Metal 3, I can't remember. We can assume the driver of Super Slam in Twisted Metal 4 was the same driver as in Twisted Metal 3.
BEFORE we start killin each other id like to say my favorite characters. they would have to be sceptre and 8-ball (The blind boxer guy? idk i havnt played in a while)
I never really got into No Face. I've been him a bunch of times but I don't think he compares to some of the other characters. Plus he kind of stole Outlaws Special in TM2.
I believe that was the only time Outlaw didn't have its trademark energy zapers. Actually, Meter Maid stole that special in Twsited Metal 4 when Outlaw wasn't featured in it. Actually, a lot of classic drivers weren't featured in Twisted Metal 4, or were featured as bosses and couldn't be played against in an actual tounament. That was sorta a bummer. It's kinda ironic, because I've always considered the energy zapper to be one of the weakest specials in all of Twisted Metal.

 That was one of the things I liked about TM4. It had a whole new cast of characters and cars to fool around with. Granted, I'm glad they included several of the series mainstays as bosses.Â
 Actually, the second boss....Moonbeam I think...was all kinds of awesome. He had the most killer special move.
Actually, the second boss was named Moon Buggy. Same deal. He did have a cool special, but I didn't like the fact that a lot of the classic characters had been made bosses, like Thumper, Axel, Mr. Slam, Auger, and obviously Sweet Tooth. raziellich made a good point that all the new and wacky characters in Twisted Metal 4 really shook things up,. My favorite character in TM4 was Orbital, with his Teleorb special that drew enemies in and froze them. It was effective and regenerated quickly. It's too bad though all of these characters were lost in the games made after TM4, but with the new Twisted Metal coming out, who knows who could be in it?
TM 4 characters won't be in it if Jaffe really is at the helm. In the extras for the PS2 version of Head On, he all but trashed 3 and 4. As far as they're concerned, those games are TM and won't be a part of the series in the future.
 And if they're going in a dark direction like they did with Black, I don't think any of those guys would fit anyway.Â
I believe that was Dollface, the driver who commandeered DarkSide in TMB. I was happy when they featured DarkSide again in TMB. I got mad in TM2 when they teased you in the opening showing a wrecked black semi on the side of the road, but not actually featuring it (DarkSide) in the game. It's a hard vehicle to maneuver, but it's a fun one. Still, how could a person survive having a doll mask hammered into their skull without any medical treatment? These stories will just never make sense...
Hmm, maybe Axel has joysticks inside the wheels of his machine that he uses to control his vehicle and weapons. Or maybe his Father controls him from a distance sorta like they showed in Axel's ending in TMHO.
Hmm, not sure. I never actually played Black, though I know how it works from TML. I don't think Axel ever actually wanted to kill Calypso, he's just wanted to escape his contraption.
I personally wouldn't. There's nothing I want that badly. Especially when half the time Calypso twists your words and gives you something you didn't actually want.
there was this kid that punched me everyday,he left school so i never got a chance to punch him back,yes maybe i would participate,i am smart,all i need is to learn to drive,and i would easily win.my wish would be that Calipso grabed that person with his hands while i enjoy punching the guy until he needs a hospital,and throw him in the hospital,i don't need to kill him,he never killed me after all.
