I have to believe that we are on the verge of a new Twisted Metal announcement. While the old school games never had theme songs, Twisted Metal Black had "Paint it Black" by the Rolling Stones as it's main screen's theme. I was wondering what everyone thought would be a good idea for a new theme. 

If Jaffe makes another Black-esque game, I think the best choice would be "The Beginning is the End is the Beginning" by The Smashing Pumpkins. The only problem I have with it is that it was just used as the promo for Watchmen, so it might be too soon to use it again. What other songs should get consideration?

I think Get Down With The Sickness by Disturbed would be an interesting idea. It fits with the games creepy atmosphere. Although, slower music may be better to use.

Maybe Rob Zombie - Demon Speeding? That made a great theme in Flatout 2, and Twisted Metal has had Rob Zombie in it before (Rob Zombie - Superbeast and Dragula, in Twisted Metal 4). Let's just hope it's at least a voice like that, 'cause it work great before.

I like it. I think it really depends on the style of the game. I think if it's Black style, it has to be another slow and dark song, whereas any paced hard rock song could work for a head or TM1 - 4 style game. Sick songs though.

If the next game were to be black, the title music should be something suspenseful, something like the title music in COD5 perhaps. There could be some piano in the background, and a women sing softly in an unheard language. That would be neat,, but the background would be have to be more still, and vehicles in the car selection would have to rotate slower, but it might work.

I'm suggesting "Be Quick Or Be Dead" by Iron Maiden or there is another track on Carmageddon TDR2000 but I really cannot think of that track :(

Another option would be "Zero Signal" by Fear Factory

It would be difficult. I suppose if we could come to an agreement on one song, we could send a petition out to the current developers, whoever they are. I doubt anyone can get into direct contact with anyone associated with the development of Twisted Metal. I can't, at least.

Alright, if I call the government of Canada, and ask to speak directly with the Prime Minister, are they just going to do it? Of course not, there are probably hundreds of dimwits calling and trying to speak directly with the Prime Minster, being as a gag or out of shear stupidity. It's the same way with the lead developers of Twisted Metal right now. We need to work as a group, and present out issue in a way that it will be worth the developer's time, and at this point it wouldn't be because we have not yet evolved enough as a union.

We do not "suck" and I shall not hear any more bashing of this union by it's own members. This union has come a long way on it's own and is evolving rather quickly. It just needs some room to grow a little longer with the help of it's members.
